Small disclaimer: Origins does play a part in this story I know it's a little unclear right now but just keep reading and I promise it will make sense!
Also the photo isn't mine! I just borrowed as it is what I based the look of King Ambrose off of.
Thanks for giving my story a read!
________________________________A knock on the door of the bath about made Olivia scream. She may be a werewolf with supernatural hearing but she had checked out there for a bit. "Yes?" She called out to whoever was knocking. "Olivia I came to check on you, you kind of left rather quickly." Eva's voice was full of concern. "I'm fine I think something just upset my stomach, I'm starting to feel a lot better now, no need to worry!" She hollered back as she got out of the tub. "Alright as long as your sure I'm going to head back to the dinning hall to get some dessert, do you want anything?" She asked. "I'm good thanks." Ollie laughed as she wrapped a towel securely around her. Her hair was super wet as always. It always held in a ton of water, which made getting it dry a nightmare! She listened for the sound of footsteps to be sure that Evalynn had actually left so she wouldn't have to listen to her grill her on how she was feeling or what happened. Olivia walked back into the room and got dressed in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, her normal nightgown. Then she plopped down on the bed. Blue eyes. Whoever that was his eyes were super intriguing. Shaking the memory out of her head she let out a loud yawn before closing her own eyes. She was surprised that she was that tired from the trip, she had slept a few hour here and there throughout it. Snuggling into her pillow she felt herself slip into a deep dream state.
Ambrose headed towards the dinning hall after finishing up his work in the office, when he neared the hall a sweet scent of vanilla and honey filled his nose. Odd. The sound of a filled dinning hall brought him back to what he was doing. Hoarx opened the door and everyone instantly went silent, before he could enter they all stood. "Thank you all but there is no need to stand." His voice boomed across the room. Everyone seemed to nod his way before they all went back to sitting and their conversations reignited. Ambrose made his way through the hall towards the front of the room where packs more closely allied to the royals were sitting. Silvia was seated among the other wolves her bright red revealing top was sure to draw the attention of most of the unmated wolves. He knew he wasn't the only man to accompany her to her bedroom but for some reason he still entertained the idea of her being a queen someday. Well according to his mother any way. "Keeping a woman like that around you will only cause you trouble someday son." His mothers words rang in his mind as he approached the table. The sweet scent of vanilla and honey stopped him in his tracts and he felt his animal side stir. He turned to survey the crowd, then he saw her a girl sitting at the Crimson Moon Pack table. Alpha Crone hadn't mentioned he had another daughter, as far as he knew there was just the one child. Before he could investigate further a pair of familiar arms slipped around his neck and a pair of lips met his. Silivia pulled away from him "what's wrong darling?" "Oh nothing just thought I saw someone." He mumbled look back towards where he swore he had seen the girl. She wasn't there, maybe the long nights in the office were starting to take their toll on him after all. "Well come on Dad is telling his stories about facing the vampires again." She giggled and pulled him back towards where she had been sitting.
Her feet hit the ground so hard she could feel the rocks and twigs bite into her flesh. She had no time to stop and acknowledge the pain, she had to move before they found her. Her body left forward as if she had no control over what was happening to her. The trees were hard to maneuver around and branches seem to reach out and mock her fetal attempt to get away. If she didn't know better she would have thought she was going in circles! Everything looked the same no matter what direction she faced. Her feet moved faster pushing her harder. If you don't hurry they'll catch you. "You can run but you can't hide." His voice sounded like acid to her ears. How did they catch up so fast?! By now her heart was pounding so fast it felt like it was ready to burst out of her chest. Fear had her crippled, she couldn't think straight. "GOTCHA!"
