She had almost made it to the edge of the woods when she felt something dig into the back of her leg and yank her backwards. "You just thought you were going to get away." His voice was nearly demonic. Who is he? Why did he hate her so much? Olivia felt something sharp dig into her leg as she was pulled back deep into the forest. "Let go of me!" She bellowed as she thrashed around in an attempt to escape his grip. "Oh no I'll never let you go." His laugh was so dark and twisted it made her heart sink in response. "I SAID LET ME GO!" Olivia mustered up all her strength and rolled her body to one side in an attempt to take the man/demon/thing by surprise. It actually worked! She felt him release his iron grip on her leg and she knew this was her chance to really escape. He hadn't been able to pull her back very far into the woods so she was much closer to the edge than ever before. Quickly she scrambled to her feet and made a break for it. "GET BACK HERE!" His growl echoed through the trees, this time he wouldn't be letting her get away. One way or another.

Ambrose ran his hand through his hair as he watched his mate lay in his bed. He wiped up the blood that had been spilt from her mouth. The king knew that her alpha was a physician but his childhood friend was the best in the world and she knew a little bit about witch craft as well. He paced the length of his suite waiting for Hannah to arrive. What was taking her so long!? Ambrose knew he needed a way to ease her heat without mating her because if he didn't he may just lose her for good. Deep down he knew there was little to do but hope and believe that she would pull through. They were mates for a reason so something of the divine world saw something that they both needed from the other. "Let me go." Olivia's voice whimpered out from her sleep. Ambrose ran to her side and watched her intently. Come on little mate wake up. A knock came from his door and in a flash he was there to yank it open. "Thank the stars you're here Hannah, my mate she's..." he started to explain but was cut off. "I know move." She pushed him out of the way and went to the girl laying in his bed. Hannah moved quickly. She pulled out a needle and a small vile of clear liquid. "What is that?" The King demanded, his Wolf was on edge. "It's just a sedative to help ease the pain from the heat, don't worry." She explained as she gave the shot Olivia directly in the vein.

Ambrose watched quietly as his childhood friend began examining his new found mate. She eventually had him go get a wash rag with a bowl filled with ice water. The doctor placed the rag on her forehead before pulling an oil from her bag and putting some in her gloved hands. Hannah ribbed the oil down the other females arms and legs "this is an oil made by the witches, it helps quicken the heat cycle." The king nodded, he trusted his friend with his life but his mates life was a little more questionable. "What day is she on in her heat cycle?" Hannah looked at Ambrose waiting for an answer. "Well from what I know and believe to be true this is her first day of heat." He was honest. "Oh my this is going to be bad." She grimaced. "What do you mean?" He scowled. "Well if she's already losing blood and passing out it isn't a good sign, she will likely have a longer and I'm assuming much more intense heat due to you being her mate." The doctor rubbed her neck and sighed. Ambrose knee that was coming but tried his best not to release his anger, or maybe it was the fear of losing his mate. "Just keep her cool as long as you can, and for the love of all things living, please don't mate her before she's ready because she'll hate you forever." Hannah warned her friend before leaving a few items with him and telling him how to use the items.

I'm going to make it! Wrong! She was out of the trees but not out of danger, now there were at least twenty plus wolves on her heels! Olivia was indeed running for her life. Suddenly a group appeared in front of her. "You're cornered now my dear." He taunted her. "What do you want from me!?" She yelled spinning to see which wolf was speaking and noticed they were all identical. "I want you." The voice sounded like it came from each of the wolves. "Why!?" She is wanted to cry and it could be heard in her voice as she felt her eyes fill with tears. "You're different I need your blood." The wolves said in unison as they all launched at her. Olivia felt a blood curdling scream release from her throat. Her eyes flew open and she came face to face with the King of wolves himself. Her heart was pounding and she could feel sweat dripping off of her. "I didn't mean to startle you, you were screaming in your sleep so I came to check on you." Ambrose apologized. "T-thank you, it was just a nightmare. I'm fine." Olivia relaxed just a little, till she realized that she was in a different room!
