I arrived at the orphanage just before five. They lock the doors at five. I walked in and peeked to see if the hall monitor was out yet. I cursed. There was the orphanage owner walking down the hall. "Snap it's Wednesday, I forgot," I whispered to myself.

Wednesdays are when we are open to adoption. Mrs. Corell has this snotty son that inspects us to make sure we look nice enough. He must have gotten to my spot and called up his mother.

When Mrs.Carell went up to the stairs, I looked down the hall one last time and I walked across the hall to a bookshelf. I pull a book with a red spine with gold touches and a small opening opened up. I slid through the gap and found myself running and changing at the same time. I have gotten accustomed to brushing my, most of the time, wild hair and running at the same time. As I came to the end of the dark hall, I pressed a small rock and a small opening opened and I gracefully slid through.

I got out just in time because Mrs.Carell was coming down the hall. I was trying to look as nice as posable with such a short amount of time. I was wearing the basic girl uniform, A white collared shirt with a navy blue and silver Hogwarts tie with my pleated skirt and gray socks. Now I know what your thinking why do you have a Hogwarts tie? It is my only tie that I have that still fits. It was was from last year's Haloween costume.

When Young Mr.Carell came to me he saw the bracelet I was wearing. His eyes widened and then relaxed again. His eyes looked into mine, they were full of curiosity. I wonder what he is so curious about?

"All clear," Mr.Corell yells. As he runs back to his mother.

"Everyone ready?" Mrs.Corell askes

"Yes, ma'am," we say back.

"Let's go let in the guests," she says.

As we head out to the ballroom I sneak into our room and get my escape bag. It has a few books, a hairbrush, a compact mirror, and some spare clothes. I had been planning this since last Wednesday and escape has always been on my mind. My plan was to sneak out of the ballroom at the end of the night with the group as they reach the gates I will step away and climb over the wall. There is away.

As I walk towards the ballroom I hear a voice in the library. "Hello,... is anyone there." I walk in. I don't see anyone. I was about to leave. When I heard it again. "Hello, I am on the second shelf." So I scrutinize the second shelf when I land on a light orange book with gold touches like the bracelet I found. I open it and a light pops out and I drop it on to a plushy chair so it doesn't make a lot of noise.

"Awe finally where are we and who are you?" There was a person hologram thingy. The person was wearing an orange blouse with black leggings and she put her hair in a ponytail.

"Ashville, North Carolina and I want to know your name first," I say skeptically.

"I am Meagan Haden, you?" Meagan said.

"Elizabeth Rogers," I say much more comfortable.

"Good to meet you. You said, North Carolina. We aren't in Mackala," Meagan said.

"Where is Mackala?" I asked.

"We are on earth, OMG, I haven't been in here for so long! Wait! You aren't from Mackala. That means the prophecy is coming true we need to get you there now or else there will-"

"Wait what do you mean prophecy and you need to calm way down. One at a time," I interrupt.

"Sorry, this must be confusing. There is a prophecy that a 13-year old bracelet-holder will reunite our world in harmony or split our kingdom with war, and if the king gets his hands on you he will rule the world," Meagan's voice full of worry.

"Ok, How do we get to your world?" I ask.

" I can do it now if you want?" She said.

"Alright, one step at a time. Do you want to go now?" I say.

"The sooner the better," Meagan said with enthusiasm.

"Let's go try to save the world!" I said as a portal makes me fall.
