It's the day before college starts and Jimin is freaking out. Sure he was physically prepared but he wasn't mentally. He wasn't ready to face all these new types of people that he would come across during his classes. He barely got through high school with that number of people! How is he supposed to survive on a larger scale?! And not to mention he's living on campus away from Jin.

He didn't have to since they lived close to the university, yet Jin wanted him to be more independent and didn't want him to get caught up with watching out for the guards assigned to take him back to Azahrei. He wanted Jimin to enjoy the rest of the life he had on land before he's taken back to a world of hard decisions and responsibility.

That process started this summer.

Jin encouraged Jimin daily to get out of the house and to hang out with his friends, aka Hoseok and Yoongi. While they all usually hung out, there were those times when Hoseok was busy or when the new couple would just want to hang out alone.

These dates weren't out of this world, they were simple. Very Min Yoongi-esque kinds of dates. Indoors, quiet, but Jimin still loved them. He enjoyed the time the two spent together. It was just like he imagined when he used to watch the elder walk down the halls of their school in silence.

One of Jimins favorite dates was their 3rd. Their third official date (even though they've been on many outings together before) was in this studio that Yoongi rents out every month to record his music. Yoongi showed Jimin what each piece of equipment was used for and even if the boy didn't understand most of it, he was fascinated.

"Can you play me something?" Jimin asked, low-key wanting to be serenaded by his boyfriend.

"Something like what?" Yoongi asked. "Classical? Pop?"

"How about something you've written?" Jimin smiled, trying to persuade the elder with his eyes. Meanwhile, Yoongi blushed, turning away from Jimin in embarrassment.

"Uh I don't know." He nervously chuckled.

"Oh come on! You played one of your songs in front of our families after graduation! Why can't you play in front of me?" He pouted, not knowing why Yoongi would be embarrassed in front of him of all people. Unless...

"Are you afraid to disappoint me?" Jimin smirked. "I don't bite Yoongi! And I don't know anything about music, so if you mess up, I wouldn't know!" Yoongi actually chuckled at that, making Jimin smile and tease him some more. "There's that smile! I knew it would come back!"

"Of course it would," Yoongi muttered. "I can't not smile at you, you're too pretty."

Jimin turned his head away to hide his blushing cheeks.

"Oh hush!" Jimin exclaimed shyly. Yoongi just laughed as he continued to play random chords, finally hearing something he liked. "Ohhh nice."

"Thanks," Yoongi replied. He quickly took a piece of manuscript paper out from his bag to write down what he just played.

"Wow! How did you learn to write music?!" Jimin wondered aloud, genuinely interested in the elder's work.

"It took a lot of time, a lot of music theory classes, and a lot of patience to get where I am now," the brunette spoke honestly. "And there's still so much more room to improve."
