The Alpha King's Mate

Chapter 2

I had been running for weeks months even since I hadn't shifted yet it was pretty bad. I really like running much it just seemed like more work.

I was just walking around now because I was too tired to run. I tripped on a root and fell face flat on the ground.

Well that's interesting.

I stood up to see the root but I was met with a pair of baby blue eyes and a few brown ones in the bushes behind me.

I screamed and backed up slowly until I hit a tree.

Stupid tree.

A 6 foot tall black wolf came out along with a blonde colored wolf and two identical brown wolves. I'm guessing the black wolf was probably the Alpha and the two brown ones were betas.

3 males and 1 female

"Uh-uh-uh" I was too scared to say anything so I stayed silent. The brown ones shifted and threw on some shorts.

"What are you doing here rogue" one of the Betas growled at me. I didn't answer.

"What are you doing here" another voice asked. But it seemed more feminine.

I still didn't answer then another one asked the same. But this time, the voice sounded like music to my ears.

My head started to spin as dark spots started to cover my sight. I shook my head trying to stay conscious yet it was not working.

I started to let the darkness take over as I began to fall. But before the darkness completely took over, I saw the same pair of baby blue eyes.

Mine

I whispered before the took over completely.

A few hours later...

I pried my eyes and quickly shut them again because of the lightening in the room. I tried to open it again but slowly this time.

I took a look around the room. It seemed I was in someone's bed. I tensed up. The person's scent lingered in the room though it smelled really good. I sat up but was pushed back down again.

I growled lowly before looking at the person who was sitting by my side.

How did I not notice him or her.

"Relax mate" the person cooed. The voice calmed me down. So it must be a guy.

I was confused the lights were on yet I couldn't see the person. Is it just my eyes or something? No.

I shook my head and looked to my right and a guy with brown hair, baby blue eyes and luscious lips was looking at me. I felt drawn to his eyes but I didn't know why.

"What happened and why didn't I see you before" I asked looking him in the eyes.

"You looked dizzy so you probably didn't see me but you came to my land and you fell unconscious" he shrugged.

"Where am I then?" I asked. "You're in the Golden Moon pack" he said with a sense of pride.

Golden Moon?

Doesn't that mean th--

"Yes you're in the Alpha King's pack" he smiled. How did he know what I was thinking about.

"Because I can hear you" he chuckled lightly.

Crap did I say that out loud

"Yes you did" he chuckled again.

Crap

"Stop saying that" he said.

"Ok" I nodded. "Can I get you something to eat?" he asked and I nodded. "I'll send someone to bring it up for you is that ok?" I nodded again.

He grabbed my hand and squeezed it. And tingles shoot through my hand. I stared at his hand in shock.

I knew that it was rare to get a second chance mate but I didn't expect one.

"Mine" I growled and pulled him by the collar.

"Yes yours and only yours" he said.
