The Alpha King's Mate

Chapter 3

Darius' POV (he's the Alpha King) before meeting Eva.

I was sitting in my office doing some paper work when Jack mindlinked me about the rogue that had been spotted on the pack ground.

I didn't really want to go but he kept on saying the same thing about the rogue doing something. I zoned out on that part.

I had been very distressed when I still hadn't found my mate at the age of 25. I've waited for 4 years to meet her yet I still hadn't met her.

I packed the sheets on my table and walked out to find Jack. He was sitting in the gameroom downstairs.

"I thought you said there were rogues" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"Yeah I was just waiting for you doofus" I growled at him for his disrespect. He just rolled his eyes at me.

He's my best friend but sometimes he's really a pain in the ass. He walked out and I followed him out.

I shifted into my black wolf while Jack shifted into his brown wolf. We met up with his brother Jason and Alison.

We took off in different directions trying to sniff out the rogue. I searched for some time but I couldn't catch scent of a rogue.

I decided to go back until

'Your majesty we found the rogue but she looks tired'

'Where are you?'

'We're at the north end of the border opposite the city'

'I'll be right there'

I said before cutting the mindlink. We might as well just get rid of this rogue problem then.
