The day after that, Earl decided to meet Elly at a place where they always meet. Earl said "Anything I ask you please answer it with the honesty that came from your heart not the lies from your mouth". Worried by Earl's action, she just said yes and proceed to hear the words from Earl. Earl asked "Where's my money? What happened to my money?". She replied with the lies from her mouth, she said "Ask Sylvia, I don't have it" with a sarcastic voice. He screamed "B*tch!" to her. With the tears of pain flowing through his cheeks, he asked her while showing a picture of the guy whom she went out with, "who is this new dude?". She remained silent. "Did you went out with him and use the 200 bucks that I gave to you?" Asked Earl to her. No answers were given, Earl screamed to her once again. He said "Answer right now or I'll beat that guy up!". She finally admitted that she have done what Earl told to her. Couldn't hide his pain, Earl kept on crying, he left Elly at that same place. He went to his home with a broken heart.
Even though he was hurt by her, he still wants to bring her to the island. Earl is a person who likes to believe in a good change, he also likes to give people a second chance. Sadly, Elly never change, she's still a bad girl and Earl think that she already had changed. Blinded by his own forgiveness, he still doesn't see the bad in Elly, he will never knew that Elly could done something bad to him.
