It has been a week since the disaster happened. Everyone left was strained of hope and depressed. Some of the survivors lost their entire families in the events. Most of the survivors lived inside of a kingdom with high walls that protected them from the outside world, but yet they still knew what was going on outside.
In the kingdom lived two young men named Xavier and Domanick. They had lived in the kingdom their entire lives. They were lovers who moved in with one another after Doms family died when they left the kingdom.
The boys woke up to the sounds of bugle horns and people shouting. "What the hell-" "It's someone from a nearby kingdom!" Dom exclaimed, cutting Xavier off. The two quickly got dressed and went out to see what the commotion was about.
A man on a horse, surrounded by 9 people, starting calling out for someone. "Xavier! I am looking for Sir Xavier!" Xavier couldn't believe his ears, this guy was calling for him? Xavier and Dom rushed to the front. "I'm right here!" Xavier exclaimed. The man looked at him, breathing a sigh of relief as he hopped off of his horse, he took Xaviers hand as he explained "The prophecy states that you are the next Messiah". The crowd went silent.
"I- What-" Xavier stuttered, pulling his hand away and taking a step back. The man replied that there was a tower in a nearby kingdom, it was named the tower of AI. The nine people who came with him were there to help Xavier on his journey.
"If Xavier goes, I'm coming too!" Domanick suddenly exclaimed. The man looked at him with an unknown expression and stated "I'm sorry. This is only a job for the Messiah and his helpers." Xavier looks at Dom, then back to the man. "...But I want him to go." he mumbled. The man finally looked at both of them and sighs
"Fine... He can go... but don't say I didn't warn you." The boys smiled at each other. "Wait," Xavier said, "What do we gotta do?" The man motioned the 9 people over, and he basically just said that they gotta go to the tower, that the others will explain the rest on their journey there.
