Xavier walked towards the end of the hall, and he placed his hand over the door. "I-It was right here" he muttered. Dom took his hand. "C'mon," he said, "We gotta keep going" Xavier looked at him, and then to the floor. He nodded and started walking up the stairs, still holding Doms hand.
The group looked around the next room. There was dirt everywhere, and there was a globe in the corner of the room. Before grabbing the note, Xavier looked at the floor. "... Just how much can someone be altered by greed" me mumbled. The group looked at him, and then they looked at the note on the door.
Allie took the note and read it. "There is no need to try and open the door," She read, "Just take this amulet, and wear it" Allie then took the amulet and handed it to Xavier. "What do I do with it" He asked, and Allie shrugged, handing him the note. "Maybe we should give it to someone else" Xavier suggested, not trusting the note.
They all talked for a few minutes, and then they all finally agreed to give it to Casey. She looked at it for a moment, and reluctantly put it on, worried about what it might do. The door for the next blessing then slid up, and the blessing was revealed.
They all looked at it, not noticing Casey. Her eyes went white, and the amulet started glowing. She started walking towards the blessing, not aware of what she was doing. Ashley looked up at Casey. "Casey," She called, "What are you doing?" Casey didn't look back.
Rosie grabbed her arm, looking into her eyes. Rosie then let go and jumped back. "Her eyes" she muttered, "Her eyes are fully white" The group looked at Casey in shock as she walked into the room. She turned around and started chanting a prayer to the heavens above as the door slammed shut.
Casey has claimed The Trembling Earth.
