Tower of Blessings

The Tower

     On the way to the tower, everyone introduced themselves.

     Jonathan, a.k.a. Jon, had royal blue hair and purple eyes.
     Miles had russet-brown hair that matched his orange-red eyes.
     Aliana had platinum blonde hair and ice blue eyes.
     Adam was Aliana's little brother, having light honey blonde hair with blue eyes.
     Casey had light purple hair that went with her purple eyes.
     Rosie had olive green hair that complimented her emerald green eyes.
     Alison, a.k.a. Allie, had light pink hair and light blue eyes.
     Ashley, a.k.a Ash, had yellow-blonde hair with light blue eyes
     Savanna, a.k.a Sav, was Ashley's younger twin. They were identical.

     After everybody introduced themselves, Savanna started to explain why they were going to the tower. "The tower holds 9 blessings that you," she points to Xavier, "the messiah, must claim. Every blessing represents a gift to the Earth. You must collect them all and then perform a ritual to bring those blessings back to this earth and to banish the evil."

     Dom looked at Savanna. "Then why did all of you need to come and 'help him'?" he asked. Savanna sighed. "You two can't do this on your own. Trust me." she stated, with no trace of sarcasm or humor in her voice. Dom was going to reply, but Xavier grabbed his arm. "Just stop-" he pleaded. Dom looked at him and sighed, stepping back. Soon, they arrived at the tower.

The boys looked at the tower in awe. It reminded them of Rapunzel's tower from a fairy tale they once heard. The group was still about a football field away, and they needed to cross a ravine by hopping from rock to rock.

      On the way, Rosie almost slipped and fell but she survived. Once they all made it across, they found a hidden door in the side of the tower. It was locked. "Maybe Xavier should try opening it?" Jon suggested.  Everybody looked at Xavier, and he shrugged, walking towards the door. He placed his hand on the door, trying to figure out how to unlock it, when suddenly, the door unlocked and opened. He looked at the group, smiling. Dom wrapped his arm around Xavier. "Great job~" He said, kissing Xaviers cheek.

     Ashley stopped the group before they walked inside. "Hold on," she started, looking at Savanna, "Why didn't you tell them the blessing names?" Savanna shrugged. "I dunno. It just didn't cross my mind that they needed to know." Ashley sighed. "The blessings are as followed. The Wave of the Sea, The Fiery Feast, The Graceful Sunlight, The Restful Darkness, The Trembling Earth, The Ambient Lightning, The Whirlwind Rondo, The Silver Garden, and The Quickening Magma" She listed.

     Xavier and Dom nodded their heads, remembering the names of each blessing. The helpers then looked at Dom and Xavier. They smiled and said, "And just remember. we will face all our fortune and pain as one". The two boys smiled. "Oh," Savanna started, "by the way, when you go up to the altar, make sure to keep a lookout for a torch, it will be lit up so it shouldn't be hard to miss." Xavier nodded. They then all walked into the tower.
