4 - I'm Staying Here...

Tord's POV

I found the Yellow Leader after awhile of walking

"Look who has finally decided to show up" He said

"Why are you doing this?" I ask

"Because I want to" He said with a smirk

"I'm going to give you a chance to leave and you and your soldiers will be unharmed" I said "Well the one who are still alive" I shrugged

"What if I don't?" He asked

"Then I'll make you leave" I said starting to lose my patience

"I'd like to see you try" He said

Now he's just plain on being cocky

"You really want to tempt me? Alright, suites yourself" I said before shooting him right in the right knee cap, he fell on the ground with a scream of pain "Are you going to leave or I'll just finish it here and now?" I ask pointing the gun at his head

"I-I s-surrender" He said putting his left hand in the air and keeping his right on his leg where I shot

I lower my gun

"Good now call off your Army and you'll be on your way" I said with a smile not a normal one tho

He grabbed his radio "Retreat. I repeat. Retreat" He says

I smirk I touch the ear piece I'm wearing "Stand down" I said, the gunshots stopped and the soldiers of the Yellow Army who are alive all left "It was good talking to you by the way but now you may be on your way" I said

One of his soldiers came over to him and helped him leave. I stood there until I couldn't see or hear them. When they were gone I let out a sigh of relief and made my way back to the base. On my way I ended up helping a few soldiers and bringing them to the infirmary room.

There wasn't many new people there so that's good news. Everyone who was brought in was taken care of right away. I went outside to make sure no one is left behind as I was walking I heard a faint sound I got closer and it sounded like a person

"Help! Anyone! Is anyone there!?" They said

I ran over towards the direction of the voice when I got close enough. When the person was in view it was one of my soldiers they were stuck under something. I ran over and tried to lift up the object I was bearly able to lift it really high

"Get out" I said breathing heavily between my words

They crawled out and I dropped the objet. I went over to them and helped them up throwing his arm around my shoulder. I helped him walk to the infirmary his leg was all cut so he couldn't walk right. We got there

"He needs medical help!" I yelled

The doctors came over and took him right away to a room. I sighed and made my way back to my room when I got there I went inside to be greeted by a hug from Paul, I smiled and hugged back. We pulled away from our embrace and he smacked me across the face

"Ow" I whimpered rubbing my cheek "What was that for?" I ask still rubbing my swore cheek

"That's for worrying the hell out of me" Paul said

"Well sorry geez" I said, Pat came over and gave me a hug "Uh... Is Tom still here?" I ask

Pat moves to show him chilling on my bed when he notices me he sits up

"Look at that, you're back" Tom said

"Yes I am. Oh and Pat, Paul you can head to your rooms or if you want go see the soldiers who are in the infirmary" I said they nodded then left, I look at Tom

"You have an infirmary?" Tom asked

"Well yea where'd you think we'd put the soldiers who are wounded?" I said "I am not going to leave them to die Thomas, no one deserves this to happen" I said

He looked confused I just sighed I went over and sat next to him

"Tom just so you know you can't stay here..." I said

To be honest I actually want him to stay but it's to risky

"And why is that?" Tom asked

"Reasons... And why would you want to stay with me in the first place?" I ask

"I was just curious" Tom said

I sighed "Maybe you should head back now..." I said getting off of my bed

He got up as well "But what do I tell Edd and Matt when they come back? They'll kill me knowing something happened to you, thinking it was me" Tom said

I went over to my desk and picked up a note then turning to face Tom. I put my hand out with the note

"If they don't believe you give 'em this they should know" I said

Tom walked over to me and grabbed the note "Uh ok then" Tom said

I sighed "I don't know how long I'll be here so don't expect me to come back so soon" I said

"Ok" Tom said

"You're free to leave" I said

Tom nodded then left

"I guess this is goodbye... Old friend..." I said to myself letting out a sad sigh

Tom's POV

I made my way out of the Red Army base then went into the woods going to the same direction I came from earlier. I got to the house and went inside

-Time skip-

When Edd and Matt came back I gave them the note Tord have me a few days ago and told them that he left on his own

They were sad about knowing he left Matt seemed more disappointed than Edd tho. I would understand he and Matt seem to be really close I would feel the same if I had a really close friend and they left for who knows how long. I just went back to my room and went to bed

And that's all for this chapter I'm going to go to school now
