Thirty one

Molly's pov

I was dressed and waiting on Luke coming downstairs, Calum was sitting beside me and somehow ha his uniform on too, "So Molly, about this morning, when I, you know, kissed you" Calum said, I turned to face him, "Yeah? What about it?" I asked, anxious to know, "I want you back Molly, I really do, I love you, and I'm better for you than Michael" he said, I shook my head, "I don't deserve to have you Calum, not after everything I've done to you" I to him, "I don't care whether you deserve me or not, I want you" he pleaded, "Let me be your boyfriend again?" he asked, "I don't know, Im not even sure if Michael and I are broke up" I said.

"You've got to be joking right? He cheated on you at a party while he was high and you were downstairs waiting on him alone" Calum reminded me, "Yeah, I know, what I meant was I still have to tell him we're over, stupid" I said, cracking a smile at the end.

This was the old Calum and Molly, this was the way we used to be before Michael joined the picture.

"Tell Michael you've broke up with him and then you're all mine again" Calum told me, "I don't deserve you Calum, you deserve someone who won't hurt you like I did" I said, "I forgive you for it, now forgive yourself and break up with that dick Michael" he said harshly, "That was a but harsh" I said, "No Molly, what's harsh is some punk coming into our lives and ruining it, stealing the girl I love and then getting high with a slut and cheating on her, that's harsh Molly, I'm just truthful" Calum said, I sighed, "Im sorry, for everything" I said, he pulled me into a hug, kissing the top of my head, "I forgive you babe" he said.

I smiled as I heard Luke clear his throat from behind us, "So I see, uh, this has worked out well?" he asked awkwardly, "I guess so" Calum said, "I have to talk to Michael though, before I say yes" I told Calum, he nodded, "But I know you'll be mine again by lunch, and that thought alone is enough to make me happy" Calum said as he skipped towards Luke's car.

"He really loves you Molly, even after all the shit you put him through he's still wanting to be with you again, I mean it this time, you better not hurt him again, I hated seeing him the way he was, a whole month he was heartbroken, I saw him cry! And I've never saw him cry" Luke said, I gulped and nodded, "I won't" I told him as I made my way out to the car, sitting in the back seat since Calum called shotgun.

"We're in chemistry" Luke said, "Great, a whole period with Michael" I said, "At least you can talk to him and tell him it's over and then you're mine again" Calum said as we exited the car, I smiled and nodded, "I know cal" I said as the three of us walked to chemistry, Calum going to his class and Luke and I going to ours.

We sat for ten minutes before Michael appeared, he looked a mess, his eyes were all bloodshot and his hair was sticking up all over the place, I couldn't tell if he was high or had been crying; or both.

"Molly you have no idea how sorry I am, and how much I regret what I done, I love you and Im sorry" Michael apologised, "Sorry for what? Sorry for cheating? Or sorry for me catching you cheating? Or was it the whole getting high thing?" I asked, "Everything" he said, "It doesn't matter" I said, "You forgive me?" he asked, "No" I said, "We're over Michael, and I mean it" I told him, I saw him blink a few times before rubbing his eyes, "Don't do this Molly, don't give up on me just like that, after all the shit we went through with that dick Calum, don't give up on me" Michael pleaded, I ignored his watery eyes and spoke coldly towards him.

"Don't call Calum a dick" I said, "You called him worse last week, why are you defending him?" Michael asked, he must have clicked on, "Its because of him, isn't it? That's why you're breaking up with me, right?" He asked, "No, it's because you cheated on me" I told him, "But if it weren't for him you would of forgiven me and wouldn't of given up on me just like that. I need you Molly" he said, "That's too bad Michael, because I need a man, not some stupid little boy who likes to get high and fuck bitches while his girlfriend is waiting downstairs for him" I said coldly as I turned to Luke.

"Well done Molly" Luke told me.

It was finally lunch and I quickly made my way to the cafeteria where Luke and Calum were already seated at our table, I sat down, "Luke told me how it went" Calum said, putting his hand over my own hand which was on the table.

"I just want to forget I ever met Michael Clifford. Lets go back to the way we used to be, all of us" I said, "I agree" Calum said, I smiled at him as he laced our hands across the table.

There was still sparks missing.

Sparks that Michael and I had.
