The Punishment

Read this after The Truth!!

"Wow, that was quick" Piper says.

"GUYS, I FOUND OUR CRIMINAL" she yells to the general area of the Living Room.

She grabss me by the arm and drags me to the Living Room despite my attempts to get out of her hold.

"I knew there was something up with you when you apologized!" Annabeth says with no surprise in her voice.

"Wait...Jason was the one who did that?!" Leo exlaims "Not cool man, you are officially off Team Leo"

"Guys, this is serious, Percy could have gone to the dark side because he thought we betrayed him." Hazel says, surprising us all since she as being so quiet.

"She's right" Frank's says.

"Of course she's right, she's your giiiirlfriend" Leo teases.

"Okay guys, Hazel is right, the outcome of what Jason pulled could have been drastic" Piper says.

"I think this is a punishment worthy of the gods" Annabeth says.

When I hear that I try to make a run for it, but Annabeth and Piper hold me back.

"Oh no," Annabeth says, "You'll be coming with us."

They take me to the dungeon that I was planning to throw Percy in.

"You'll stay here until we reach Olympus" Piper says.

Jokes on them, the gods will probably take my side.

We're finally reaching Olympus and the only reason I know is because the girls let me out.

After a few more minutes everyone walks side by side, except for me, who is trailing behind.

C'mon grace, go in front and show them who's boss, I think.

I try to pass them, but Frank, who's on the side bumps me, so I almost fall. After that I just walk behind them.

Once we get into the Empire State Building, Percy has a mini-argument with the guy at the front desk.

Finally, he lets us go to the elevator.

We all squish together and stand awkwardly while the elevator plays horrible, and I mean horrible music.

After the terrible wait, the doors open and we walk out into Olympus.

Everyone has a look of awe on their face, except for Percy and Annabeth.

Weird, I think. It's almost like they've been here before...

"What do you need Demigods?" Zeus booms.

Everyone immediately bow down except Percy and Annabeth, who just look annoyed.

What do they think they're doing? I think, They'll get us killed!

I look around to see everyone else has a look of fear on their faces for their friends.

"We're here because, as you know loyalty is my fatal flaw," he said, giving a pointed look to Athena.

"And Jason here decided to get everyone to betray me."

The gods have a puzzled look on their faces except for Athena who lets out a little gasp.

"If I'm correct, every one betraying Percy would cause him to go to the enemies side" she says.

"As much as I hate to admit it, that punk is powerful" Ares says.

"I see the many concerns so we will take a vote. All in favor if punishing him?" Zeus asks.

All the gods hands go up and I feel dread creep up my spine.

"Okay, your punishment will be to be killed after the next Great Prophecy is completed." he says.

I feel like fainting but manage to stay up.

"B-b-but-" I manage to stutter.

"No buts" Zeus thunders.

"Buts" Leo snickers and Piper kicks him in the shin to shut him up.

"But how will we cooperate with him?" Annabeth asks, "We all hate him."

Ouch. Hard thing to hear from your crush.

"We'll be wiping your memories" Hera responds and Percy turns the palest shade of white I've ever seen.

"Nope, not doing that again" he says.

"Relax, I'm only wiping the memories of the betrayal of Jason" she says, saying my name in disgust.

"Okay..." Percy agrees, but he still seems weary of the goddess.

Hera seems to take this as a sign to start wiping our memories, because suddenly everything goes black.

I'm on the Argo II, laying on my bed, kind of dazed until I remember Leo just blew up New Rome and we have three new demigods on this quest.

"Hey," I croak.

Piper is so startled she drops the knife. "You're awake!"

"Don't sound so surprised." I touch my bandaged head.....
