"By different you mean the wings don't you?" I asked in a chilling voice, pushing Rose behind me.
" Yes I mean the wings and the fact that you're incredibly strong. Plus Rose stabbed me with her barbed tail!" Anastasia said with large vibrant blue eyes. ( Yes I know I'm so poetic)
" So why did you attack us,rather than killing us, that is." I asked calmly.
"There was no other reason. But we didn't know you would kick our asses." Alex replied.
" That'll show you not to get on my bad ass side." I almost yelled.
"Yeah." Rose said sticking her tongue out.
"Rose! That was rude, now apologize!" I commanded Rose.
"Fine. I'm sorry." she barely whispered the apology.
"Thank you. Now ..." I was cut off by the sound of sirens." I think we should take this elsewhere." I said in a hurried voice while gathering worried nods from the others.
We hopped into my truck and drove home. Don't ask how I trusted them I just did.

"Sage baby what took you so long?" Max said as he picked me up and kissed me hard, then he suddenly let go.
"Why the hell do you have vampires in this house!" Zach screams coming from the living room.
He turns and heads for Anastasia and Alex, Alex gets in front of Anastasia and let's a warning hiss come out. Zach goes to punch him but before he got to I jump in the way and took the hit.
"Damnit Zach." I said taking the time to place my own punch which laid him flat on the floor.
"Sage that was awesome but why are those two in here." Max asks in a low tone.
"They tried to kill us but stopped when the realized we were different like them. Max don't do anything." I say after explaining while taking notice that Max was getting mad.
"They tried to F#%*~!? kill you and your defending them." Max screams.
"Well a) I kicked their asses so I owe it to them and b) pardon your French there is a child." I snap back giving him a warning glance.
"Fine." he said kissing my cheek to make up for what he did.
"Let's go talk this over in the living room. LOGIN GET YOUR ASS UP HERE AND GET ZACH!! Rose go get some ice for your brother and me please." I said turning for the others to follow me. Before I could get much farther Max picked me up and Alex followed suit.
"Max I can walk just fine." I reply to his outburst.
---------------Their Story---
"So how long have you been in Ashe?"
"I have been here for 100 years and Anastasia has been here for 50." Alex replied calmly.
"How did you two meet?"
"We meet 50 years ago when Alex saved me from a pair of Vampire/Werewolf hunters." Anastasia replied.
"Once I took her to my home, were we have been living until it was torched a year ago, any way I had gotten to know her and a week later we found out we were mates." Alex explained, thank god not in full detail.
"So you are being hunted, have no house and are struggling for food because of the werewolves, right?" I asked once they had fully explained.
*Sage I know what your doing. SO DONT DO IT* Max screamed in his head knowing only I would hear.
I smirked at him and turned to the others, " We have room and since you'r house was torched maybe you could stay here."
"Yes. That would be great."
"No." Anastasia and Alex replied at the same time.
"It's settled then you will stay, Anastasia upstairs and Alex downstairs. Max show Alex, and Anastasia you follow me."
I took her upstairs to the room on the left of Rose. "This is where you will be staying. The bed and walls are purple is that okay?" I state.
"Yes it's fine."
"Good good."
"So dinner is at 6:30 everyday, lunch 12:15,and breakfast 7:30. Okay?" I tell her.
"Okay good night."
