The Changing of Time

As summer morphed into autumn
The days turned shorter and colder
Brisk winds blew in, chilling the earth to the core
Blithe children, untroubled and free
Weighed down by worry and work
But where negativity lies positivity and beauty bring light
Florid shades of oranges, reds and yellows graced both the earth and sky
Boundless beauty for all who looked for it
Coruscating droplets of dew danced on the foliage every dawn
Awakening the birds and beasts from their nightly slumber
As summer morphed into autumn
The days turned anew bringing beauty and change to all
