Since I didn't have my PE clothes yet, I got to sit at the side lines and sadly had to watch everyone attempt and fail to play football. I then had Algebra II with Mr. Buckley and now's lunch. I was looking for Denise when I spotted her sitting next to Luke and a few others. I quickly paid for my lunch and slowly walked over to the table to find a spot.
And guess who I had to sit next to? Yes, the forever obnoxious Luke. When I sat down, Denise immediately got to the introductions.
"This, my dear friends, is Nikkole.", said Denise.
"Another newbie? Am I friends with a charity case worker or something? We already have this dumbass, why do we need another?", a tall, tanned girl with blondish brownish hair and freckles sneered.
"Not now Julia.", sighed Denise.
"Your lucky you guys are my friends or you would've already gotten beat up.", Julia screeched, giving the death glare of death glares towards towards Denise.
"Don't doubt it a bit, sugar.", Luke answered.
"Nice to know we're so loved.", a small Asian looking girl sarcastically replied, who I knew from Algebra as Liza.
"I just recruited him when I saw him looking around in the lunch line, I couldn't help it. Hey Nikkie, you guys are perfect for each other, cause you both seem to be insomniacs!" Denise snickered.
"Yeah, we both already had the unfortunate chance of meeting each other this morning anyway. The little bitch almost kicked me in the stomach!" I said, ignoring Denise's comment.
"Excuse me? Aren't you the one who decided to wake me up when I was peacefully dreaming about...stuff."
"Well, how we'd so gladly love to hear about you adventures with stuff I need to eat so can you please keep your idiotic comments to yourself." Julia said, more a demand than a question.
While I nibbled on my chicken sandwich, Luke kept glancing at me with his curious eyes.
"What?!" I basically banshee screeched, not surprised to find the whole lunchroom staring at me.
"Nothing." Luke murmured.
"Are you in love with her?" Denise giggled, while Liza was making kissy faces at the both of us.
"Excuse me!?" Luke and I said, me secretly smiling at the thought. I mean, seriously, look at the guy. No matter how annoying he is, he's still hot.
