The One And Only || Taekook

SIXTEEN

Jungkook was standing in the doorway, looking at Tae with adoration.

The boys broke their group hug as they saw Jungkook stepping inside the terrace. They were prepared for this, but also knew that the final decision lay in Tae's hands.

"H-hi Jungkookie!!" Jimin quickly greeted him, trying to break the ice.

"Hey! How are you??" Jungkook asked, but internally he was filled with awkwardness as all of them were staring at him. He was in a dilemma whether to greet them or not.

"Yeah! I'm fine! I'm really fine!!" Jimin solemnly said as he looked at Yoongi with a sea of love filled in his eyes and Yoongi returned it back.

"H-hello everyone." Jungkook finally mustered the courage to acknowledge them.

"Hi Jungkook. H-how have you been?" Jin responded.

"Yeah." That's all he said with a nod as Taehyung cut him off.

"I-I want to talk." With this Taehyung started moving a bit away from the mob, which meant he wanted to talk in private. All the hyungs understood. Jungkook was surprised, but followed.

What do I do now???? Never in my life have I been so scared by anyone half my size! The power you hold Kim fucking Taehyung!

"We'll be waiting in the car." Namjoon said to Taehyung and pressed his eyes shut with a nod, a gesture to tell him that he did right and with this all of them stepped out of the terrace.

Silence followed as both of them stared at each other, even checking each other form head to toe. The breeze seeming like a romantic music. Both of them, taking in each other's missed diets and sleepless nights.

This went on for quite a time before Taehyung spoke up. Not able to keep it to himself anymore.

"W-why did you do that Jungkook? Actually you know what? You're a coward! The biggest coward I've ever seen in my life! Running away from me like that?! You didn't even bother to talk to me. Atleast you should've broke up properly! D-did I r-really deserve that after all the love and care that I showered upon you? I-"

He took a moment because the lump in his throat made it difficult for him to talk. Tae was determined not to cry, but the pain which he had endured all alone, the pain of betrayal and the pain of being so so away from him. He wasn't able to forget it.

"Tae! Wait. I'll tell you. I'll tell you everything. And I don't expect you to forgive me, but please listen. Please!"

This was going harder than expected! But it needed to be done.

And with this he told him everything. About how he wanted to use Tae in the beginning, how he used to cheat on him with Lisa and Jimin, everything. He didn't want to leave any secrets between them. He wanted to open himself like a book, which Tae would either keep to himself or throw away forever.

"But Taehyung, after a period of time, I really couldn't resist the beautiful human that you are! Even though I wouldn't notice you, you had managed to create a huge impact on my non-existent heart and emotions.
At first, I just wanted your name tag upon me. But then everything started changing. It wasn't just for your name tag anymore. You know, you made me feel! You made me feel emotions which I ever haven't! You made me care for you, you made me stare at you, admire you, accept you, cry for you, you made me feel so jealous!! And most important Tae-"

"You made me love you!"

Jungkook said as he took one step closer, his stare intense, his eyes gleaming with a million stars and tears in them. They were indeed a galaxy.
