CHAPTER 6: New Member

New Member

JISOO's POV

We are now at the cafeteria. Me, Irene, Seulgi and Nayeon. Our call time was 7:00 AM in the morning because 8:30 AM is the start of our class. It was already 7:15 but Jennie is not here yet. She said she'll introduce an new member of our group.

We waited for another 15 minutes until Jennie came. She's with Lisa. Maybe Lisa is the new new member.

"Hi guys! Sorry we're late." Jennie said as she and Lisa approached us, and kiss us on our cheeks after that.

"So Im here with Lisa, as you can see. Lisa said she wanted to be friends with me and you guys. So may I ask if you like her to our new friend?" Jennie said and give Lisa a smile.

We're all shocked at first. But the three of us are happy about that. It's good that we have a new member. We all nod in response and Lisa smiled after that.

"Sure you can! We love too!" The three of us said.

"Dude welcome to the group!" Seulgi said to Lisa and gave her a hug.

"Thank you guys for accepting me. It's just at first I really wanted to be friends with you since Seulgi is not a good friend to me." Lisa said and acted like she was sad about that.

"Hey! Lisa-yah! What are you talking about?!!!" Seulgi said and slightly punched Lisa on her head. Lisa laughed.

"No Im just kidding Seul!!!" Lisa said while laughing.

"Hey kids enough with that! Lisa, Jennie you can sit now. Why are you still standing?" Irene said to Jennie and Lisa.

"Since they're here now, let's eat!" Nayeon said.

We ordered our food. After waiting for a few minutes until our orders are served.

"Thank you for the meal!" We all said.

We are all now eating peacefully. But an idea came to my mind.

"Okay. Lisa. Since you're new to this group can you introduce yourself to us?" I said.

"Oh okay sure. So Im Lisa. You all know that!" Lisa said and we all chuckled.

"Uhm. Im from Thailand so Im Thai and I've been here in California for 14 years. My family went to Japan but I decided to just stay here since I love this place and luckily I met you guys here. I've been studying here at YG University since I was in 7th grade. And yah I guess you know the rest?" Lisa added.

"Oh sure we know the rest. You're like hella popular here you know?" Jennie said.

"Like you guys right?" Lisa said and we laughed.

"Oh Lisa stop we can't reach the level of how famous you are here." Jisoo said.

"Aish stop it guys. Look how beautiful you are, that's why you became popular here right?" Lisa said.

"Uhm guys can we stop talking about fame? I can't relate." Seulgi joked and everybody laughed.

"Guys let's continue eating now. We will get late you know? We only have 20 minutes left." Irene said while suppressing her laugh.
