"No..."

'It never fails..'

The rapid heartbeats, were constant in Euphoria's chest. Sweat drizzled down her neck. And yet. Again. Another nightmare.

'It never fails..'

From the horror of the accident,
It came back like flash images.
It never failed to conjure within her mind.

Like a VCR, It was on replay.

'It haunts me..'

First time, she'd be in it.
Second time, Nipsey would be in.
Third time, the red & blue bandannas show up. They'd be the only things in color. Everything else would be in black & white.

It symbolized something, it had meaning.

Maybe something to come?

She kept quiet from everyone of these "Nightmares," that reoccurr overnight.

Only her therapist knows.

And Nipsey's face. His face was agonizing to look at. His facial expression, the features of terror. He'd be surrounded by these shadow figures, that would attack him.
He'd try to fight them off, but they'd keep circling.

Repeat, after Repeat.

Over and Over.

In inaudible tone. Euphoria coughed out. "No..Stop.."

She fought and surged out, before it could get anywhere worse than that.

Gasping for air and holding her chest, In the pitch black room.

It felt like there was no justice, in going to therapy every two weeks.
She thought of bumping it to, once a week. She denied medication, and would throw each one, down the toilet. They caused more frequent, mental breakdowns.

Wrapping her fingers around her throat and whipping the sweat from her neck. She felt pressure in her chest, as though, she is suffocating.

"Water.." Euphoria smacked her lips and jumped out the bed, ran through her condo. A sudden churn of her stomach, she found herself vomiting in the sink. Hands and body trembled, as she held onto the countertop.

"Mama..!" Creed cried out.

She presses both palms on the counter and took a deep, heavy, breath.
"Mama's comin'. Hold on!"

Euphoria counted to ten in her head and regained her strength.
She twisted her body to look at the time on the microwave.

4:34.

"Ma..Ma.." Creed repeated and got louder.

She pushed his bedroom door open and got him out the crib.
