Cake's POV
I feel so bad for having to leave my baby in that big lonely tree house, to take care of my kitties. I can't believe my little Fionna is going to be eighteen.
"Hey Mono, baby I'll be gone for two days. Take good care of our precious kittens." I kissed him goodbye and walk out of our house. I still have to pack, and plan the party. The walk from my house to the tree house wasn't very long. I opened the door and came in.
"Hey baby, I'm home." I shouted through the house.
"Cake!" She hopped down from the floor above, instead of using out ladder, She ran over and squeezed me so tight. "I've got news." She smiled.
"Oooo, what is it baby." I got excited.
"Come on let's go up stairs." Fionna and I went up stairs, and say on the couch. "Well I have a date tomorrow." Fionna's face turned bright red, and grinned from eat to ear.
"Who, Gumball?" I questioned.
"No, of course not, Me liking Gumwad was a stupid faze."
"Are you getting back with Flame Prince." I really hoped they got back together because he told me he really wanted to date her again. But she shook her head no.
"It's Marshall Lee." She had a smile but it slowly faded away, presumably by the look on my face.
"Nope, that Boy is no good. You aren't gonna date him." When I said that my tail began to fluff with anger.
"Cake, that's not up to you I'm almost eighteen, and living on my own! I'm not a helpless little girl anymore. All I wanted was for you to be happy about this but, I guess I should of known that this it's how you would react!" Her face was no longer red from blushing, but instead of anger. She then stormed to her room, slammed her door shut and locked it.
Fionna's POV
I ran to my bed, shoved my face into a pillow, and began to let my warm tears soak the fabric of my blanket. I felt bad that I yelled at Cake, but I was still mad that she couldn't accept how I felt about Marshall. She just needs to know that he cares about me. The tears I cried had made me lose all my energy and I fell into a deep sleep.
