REESE TRIED ON HER ONSIE AND BOUNCED AROUND IN IT. It was a dark maroon colour like Willy's, and had a huge "R" on the back which stood for Reese. It was the first, and favourite gift that she received on Christmas. . and it, of course, was giving by the one and only Wonka.

It felt soft to her skin, almost like cotton, she thought. It wasn't too tight, but it was nice and big enough for her to have lots of room to feel comfortable in. As big as it was, it made her feel like a flying squirrel. She laughed at her little analogy in the mirror, cupping her hands to her face.

It was late at night, and she wasn't feeling any type of tired. Her mind was racing, actually, just feeling energised for no apparent reason. Her body, however, felt very tired. . it felt like it could give out on her in any moment, but she didn't let that stop her.

She slipped on her furry socks, and grabbed her eye mask. Willy never knew this, but whenever she couldn't sleep she would sit in the candy meadow. She would usually fall asleep there, or fall asleep in the hallway on her way back. . it made her feel calm and safe.

Slowly and carefully, she opened the door and looked down each ends of the hallway. Being as quiet as she could, she scattered and slid to the room where the candy meadow was located. She opened the door, and went in.

She walked down the passage way, over the bridge, and to the edge of the chocolate river where she would sit down eventually.

Even if she thought she had successfully made it to the meadow without making any noise, the door was not quiet at all. In fact, Wonka heard it this night and immediately woke up. Sitting up in his bed, he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion (both sleepy confusion and awake confusion). . when he got himself collected, he got up and slipped on his iconic jacket, top hat, and gloves. This man never not wears his gloves.

He too made his way down the long hallway to the meadow, getting the keys out of his pocket. He pushed the door first, making sure it wasn't locked. When he realised it wasn't, he walked in slowly. He wanted to know would else would be here at this time of night.

Through the darkness of the meadow, he saw the silhouette of Reese. She was pocking and throwing grass into the river, and visibly dozing off into sleep.

He chuckled to himself and approached her. "Peanut. . Peanut." He said softly, tapping her shoulder lightly to wake her up. She looked up at him through slightly closed eyes, "Can I sit with you?"

She nodded drowsily, and he sat down next to her. Of course she leaned on his shoulder, she was tired.

"So you've been the one leaving the door open?"

"Mhm.." She breathed, moving a little bit to get comfortable. "Sometimes. . I can't sleep, so I come in here."

He blinked and looked out into the chocolate river with a smile. To say that he liked this moment very much was an understatement at this point.

"I don't mind it when you come in here, although I would prefer if you not throw grass in the river." He laughed.

She smiled groggily, rubbing her eyes with her hand balled into a fist.

"I'll remember not to next time. . Okay?"
