it had been a week or so since cassius had seen valentín. he lost count. he decided he would do something about it and just go and seen valentín. what could go wrong, right?
he walked all the way to valentín's house. he had written down his address once so he wouldn't forget it. it was dark out, he figured it was around 2 am. he walked around the side to valentín's side of the house and climbed up to the window. cassius ignored the self doubts and voices telling him to go back home and leave valentín alone. he knocked on the window with the side of his hand.

valentín drowsily rolled over to face the direction of the noise. with one hand rubbing the sleep out of his eye and the other fumbling with his light, he stood up and stumbled over to the window. it took him a moment to realize there was someone outside.
"hey!" a muffled, but familiar voice came from the other side of the window. this startled valentín as he began to realize who it was. he quickly began to open the window. he reached out his hand for cassius to get inside. "what the hell are you doing here? it's like 2 in the morning!"
cassius took valentín's hand and pulled himself up. with a grunt he spoke. "i wanted to see you." he sat down on the vanity chair. "that's all."
valentín missed cassius too. probably more than cassius missed him. he sat down on his bed across from cassius. "how have you been?"
cassius was too focused looking at valentín to hear his question. being without him really took a bigger toll on him than he thought. he admired how his collarbones peeked out from the oversized collar of the white t shirt he was wearing. and how clear his freckles were, even with the faint light of the lamp next to him.
his thoughts were interrupted by valentín gently kicking his foot. "hey. are you okay? you seemed spaced out."
cassius rubbed his eyes. "y-yeah, i'm fine. i just missed you a lot."
"you seem tired." valentín moved back and patted his bed. "you can sleep here if you want. the bed's kinda small, though."
cassius quickly got up and took the offer. even if he didn't sleep, he just wanted to feel valentín's body next to his. he pushed off his beaten up sneakers and let his worn out leather jacket fall to the floor.
valentín let cassius wrap his arms around his abdomen. he played with the collar of cassius's white t-shirt, tracing the curves of his collar bones through the fabric.
"what are you doing?" cassius half-whispered.
valentín shrugged. "i dunno." he rubbed the soft fabric in between his fingers. he placed a small kiss on cassius's jaw as that was all he could reach since cassius was resting his chin on the top of his head.
cassius chuckled. he returned valentín's affection by kissing the top of his head. he ran his hands through valentín's curly hair.

he wished they could stay like that forever. he wanted to kiss valentín and hold him forever. cassius and valentín had been asleep for maybe two hours and was awoken by valentín's subtle movements in his arms. he held back a yawn to not wake the other boy up.
he watched him dream and smiled to himself.
cassius woke valentín up with a kiss to his forehead.
valentín's eyes fluttered open. "do you have to go?" he spoke slowly.
"no." cassius kissed valentín's nose and then his cheek and after that he kissed just above his eyebrow.
"...good." he returned a few when he could.
cassius kisses valentín's face all over as valentín slowly began to wake up. valentín rubbed his eyes and yawned. he kissed cassius on the lips once he was awake enough.
it surprised cassius at first but he let him and kissed him back. eventually cassius sat up against the wall and pulled valentín into his lap.
cassius slowly moved down to the corner of valentín's mouth, then his jaw, and then his neck, and finally stopped at his collar bone. he began to leave hickeys along his neck and shoulders while valentín had his arms wrapped around cassius's neck. cassius didn't mind much, since this gave him more skin to decorate.
he felt valentín gripping at his white t-shirt and chuckled. "needy."
valentín was bright red and was trying not to make any noise since his parents were next in the room next to his.
"shut up..." he was doing his best not to speak too loud as cassius began to kiss him again, this time with more tongue.
cassius bit valentín's lip occasionally which only got him a soft and shaky sigh. he laid valentín down so that he was on his back and cassius was over him. he unbuttoned valentín's shirt a little and began to leave hickies here and there.

cassius stood and yawned as he fumbled with his jeans. the room was slightly brighter now. it was 5:20 and cassius had to leave since his mother got home soon. valentín stayed under the covers and watched cassius get dressed. "do you really have to go?"
cassius pulled his shirt over his head. "yeah. i wish i could stay, but my mother would kill me if she got home and i wasn't there."
valentín sighed and sat up a little so his blankets covered his legs. there was a comfortable silence. valentín watched cassius continue to get dressed. he hadn't felt content with himself in a long time, and at one point he didn't think he ever would, but cassius changed that for him.
cassius interrupted his thoughts by placing a kiss on his cheek. "i'll see you soon." he rubbed the spot he kissed with his thumb. "i love you."
valentín couldn't help but smile as he looked up at cassius. "i love you too."
