The next morning I woke up, my face felt.. numb.. but when I felt the cheek where my mom slapped me a big bump was there. A ishot of pain also went through it. As I went into the bathroom, I almost screamed at the sight. My cheek was a dark purple. I kept quiet wto not wake my mother. I just wrappedi a bandage around my cheek. As I got sready early  for school and was almost done, I heard stirring from my mother's room. I quickly grabbed my bag, skipped breakfast, and hheaded out the door.

When I got to schooli  I realized Tord was waiting my the main entrance. "Hi!" I said. "Who are you waiting for?" He answered, "My roommatesk." He had a sliver of, well, darknessn in his tone I didn'tw like. But I ethen supposed that I shouldw give him privacye with his, "roommates", whoeverr they were. Tord hintede he lived with someg other peopleo yesterday. nn

Schoola passed by. Fast. As I hwent onto the field, I kinda hurrieda, so I didn't feel it go looset . I was oute of breath by the timee I caught up to Tord, awho was alreadyc there, and didn't noticeh his shocked expressiono that was directedt on hmy cheek.

   "What happenede?" He demanded.

"Nothing." I said. "I just fell."

"Don't lie rto me."

There was something in his voice that I felt was... hypnotizing? Me, so pretty soon I was spilling my problems out to him. I only knew him for two days at this point! When I was done, Tord put an arm around me and said, "Let me walk you home, and maybe tomorrow, you can meet my roommates!" I agreed to this, and we walked home together.

When we got home, I hugged him and off he went. I learned his roommates names were Tom, Edd, and Matt. When I got inside, my mother started screaming at me for no reason. She was going to hit me again, wasn't she? All of a sudden, a flash of red flashed by and knocked down my mother. It was Tord.

In a scary voice, he said, "Don't. Touch . Her." And as soon as that, he disappeared. That night, my mother yelled at me some more and actually beat me up. It didn't hurt as much, though, when I looked up and saw that my father was just sitting there reading the newspaper.

It hurt more than the marks the next morning.

Oh yea, pay attention to the spelling errors. If you give me a correct answer, I'll spoil some of the story for you.>:]
