Chapter 4

Katie pov

I ran upstairs into a different room. I tried to open the window but it sent a shock down my hand. I jumped back. I crawled under the bed and went to sleep.

August pov

After I was done releasing all my anger. I walked upstairs to apologize. I walked in our room and she was no where to be found. I ran to every room and couldn't find her. I was beyond pissed I started breaking shit. I collapsed on my guest bed and heard a grunting noise. I looked under the bed and seen a half sleep Katie. I pulled her from under the bed and brought her to our room. I laid her on our bed and tucked her in. As I was leaving Katie whispered "I hate you" I said "I know" and left out. I heard a knock at my door I went and answered it and it was one of my costumers I sold to him and he left. I turned on the tv and Mea and Katie's mom were pleading for her to come home. I changed the channel to BET and watched one of my favorite movies The Best Man Holiday. I heard a thud come from upstairs I ran up the steps to see a sleeping Katie on the floor. I decided to leave her there and walked back downstairs to finish my movie. After the movie was over I made me and Katie a grilled cheese. I walked upstairs and told Katie come eat she followed me and sat down at the island and began eating. I decided it was the right time to apologize for my actions.

August: Katie I just want you to know that I'm sorry for putting my hands on you. You just get me so mad that I can't control myself. I just wanna be friends and get to know Ya you feel me?

Katie: it's okay I accept your apology. Sure we can be friends.

August: *smiles* your such a nice person.

Katie: No I just believe in second chances. *smiles*

No ones pov

After Katie and August were done eating August took their plates and set them in the dishwasher. August took Katie's hand and lead her outside to his car.

August: I'm going to bring you to a mall so you can go shopping. You better not try to run.

Katie: okay

August started up his car and drove off. Katie quickly examined his face. August seen her looking at him but just ignored it. August pulled up to the mall and got out to open Katie's door. Katie stepped out the car and thanked him. August grabbed Katie's hand and lead her into forever 21. Katie shopped and then lead August into Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe and by the time she left Charlotte Russe she was tired and her arms were aching from holding a couple bags. She kinda felt bad for August because he had the majority of all her bags. They walked out the store and threw her bags in the back. August then decided he would bring Katie to a go kart place knowing that's always been her favorite place. Katie realized where he was taking her and she jumped up and down in her seat. August stopped the car and got out Katie jumped out his car and ran over to her regular go kart. August paid the man and Katie and August raced 4 times Katie one all the rounds but 1. August and Katie decided they would leave considering the fact that it was dark as hell out. August and Katie brought the bags in and hung them up. Katie collapsed on August's bed and fell asleep. August smiled at her and fell asleep right beside her.
