I stormed out of the hotel room. I needed some time to clear my head and think.
---- After 30 minutes of thinking----
I made up my mind. I need to leave Katie alone for a while. I know what's happening is not her fault but I need to focus on my career right now I can't be held back by a woman and her child. I bought the house me and Katie were supposed to move into and start a family in. I made my way back to the hotel room and seen Katie sleep on the floor. I swallowed my guilt and woke her up.
August: Katie wake up *shrugs her*
Katie: *pops up* Huh?
August: I don't think this is gonna work anymore. I got a job and I can't have you and this kid holding me back.
Katie: *looks at the floor* what?
August: I'm sorry
Katie: FUCK YOU AUGUST! YOU THINK I WANTED ALL THIS SHIT TO HAPPEN TO ME! I CANT BELIEVE YOU WOULD LEAVE ME BECAUSE OF THIS! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU LOVING ME AUGUST!? OR WAS THAT ALL A FUCKING LIE! WAS I JUST A PIECE OF ASS TO YOU!? IM GONE YOU WONT EVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ME NOMO!
Katie's pov
I stormed out of his hotel room and caught a taxi. I couldn't even cry any more it's like I had no more tears left. It's official my life is falling apart before my own eyes. I didn't have enough money for a plane ticket so I caught the bus all the way back to ATL. Once I finally arrived back to my home town I made my way over to the only place I felt like I could go, my cousin Desarae's house. Once I arrived at Desarae's house I pounded on the door and slid down in front of it. Soon as Desarae opened her door she lifted me up and brought me inside.
Desarae: Are you okay? What happened to your leg?
Katie: *breaksdown* No
Desarae: *hugs Katie* oh honey it's okay tell me everything.
Katie: August *sniffles* left *sniffles* me *sniffles* and *sniffles*I *sniffles*have *sniffles*no *sniffles*place *sniffles* to *sniffles*stay *sniffles*and *sniffles*Im *sniffles*having *sniffles*a *sniffles* rape *sniffles* baby *cries hard*
Desarae: Wow! Your staying with me. This is a lot to take in. I can only imagine how your feeling.
Katie: it's horrible. I just want to die.
Desarae: oh baby don't say that. God has big things planned for you just wait you will see.
Katie: I just wish they would hurry up.
Desarae: I know honey. Come on let me show you your room.
Katie: okay.

Me and Desarae cuddled up on the couch and watched all the scary movies we could find.
Desarae: this reminds me of old times
Katie: I know. I miss those days when life was easy.

Katie: I broke it trying to release stress on a punching bag *giggles*

Katie: me too. Can we sleep together tonight?
Desarae: are you still a wild sleeper. Because remember last time when we were like 17 and I woke up with a black eye and broken toe.

Desarae: alright fine come on big head. Oh and tomorrow I'm kinda throwing a little party. And Michael will be there.
Katie: *smacks lips* my ex Michael?
Desarae: yeah. He has been asking about you lately.
Katie: Pssh I don't know why. He's the one who left me once he got big. Just like August *looks down*
Desarae: look fuck August. Your gonna have a good time tomorrow and your not going to think about August at all tomorrow. Got it?
Katie: fine. Let's just go to sleep.
Desarae: Arrd love you cousin
