DON'T YOU FORGET ABOUT ME

First glimpses

Valentina was able to sleep very little that night. The memory of her and Juliana so close from kissing before being interrupted by Lupita, was alive in her mind all night.
Juliana's speech gave her a little hope about the return of her memory, because it seemed that the feelings, the love for her, had remained unchanged. Inside she knew she was in love, Valentina only needed a little time and patience to make sure that Juliana could face the trauma with tranquility.

Juliana woke up with a smile on her face, despite having slept very little. Her head did nothing but wander with imagination, always returning with her thoughts to the evening with Valentina. How she liked to feel that exchange of energy between them. How they almost kissed each other. How she wanted nothing more than to kiss her. Seeing her so sad had given her butterflies in her stomach, the only thing she could think of was that she wanted to hug her and hold her close to herself.
"God, Juliana, you have to come back to planet Earth!" - she said to herself
A voice from the room below called her.
- "Juli!! You'll be late for school,are you okay?" - Lupita shouted
- "Yes mom! I'm sorry, I slept too much, I'm coming!"
- "I prepared you a nice breakfast, I know it's the time of the day you prefer! I leave you all here and I go to work, darling, see you later, okay? "
- "Okay, mom, thanks for everything !!"

A strong headache came at that moment and forced her to sit on the bed. A flashback came to her mind. A clear scene. There is her and Valentina, in a place that, however, fails to focus well on her mind. They are talking and smiling together.
- "So what's your favorite meal of the day?" - asked Valentina
- "My favorite meal? Um, I'd say Breakfast."
- "Well, then we know who will make breakfast when we live together!"
- "What?? Already thinking about the future eh??"
Juliana came back to reality, but her head felt like it was bursting.
"What happened? Why do I have these memories so etched in my mind? I'm getting back my memory maybe? Whatever it is, I think it's better for me to keep it to myself, at least for now. I don't want anyone to worry, let alone my mother. Now, the only thing I want is to ask Valentina if she wants to see me ... "
And so she did, she decided to send her a message to see if she was awake.
Valentina's answer came almost immediately.
"Hey hello Juls! I was just thinking about you, would you like to see us? Let's go eat something together and then I'd like to take you to a place that I think you'll like very much!"
"Val, of course I do! Very willingly, I like everything, I leave you the choice I'm sure you won't let me down! "
"Perfect! I will amaze you! "- and added a heart to the message.
Juliana found herself happy, excited and agitated, as if it were her first date.
She decided to dress very simple, a classic white undershirt, a pair of torn black jeans and her ever-present sneakers.

"Finally the first date with her, I hope everything goes well, I can't wait! I hope I'll be interesting enough for her and that she doesn't get tired of me!"
Her life was starting again, and she was glad to start again with someone like Valentina.
