"Listen I gotta go okay, bye Rose," Viktoria said turning and heading for the door.
"I'll come with you," Dimitri left with her and I was stuck with Lissa's gaze on me.
"Christian can you wait in my room please, I wanna talk to Rose alone," Lissa said. "Now before you say anything Rose sorry I was just a little angry." I looked at Lissa and I knew why she was angry, I hadn't been there to take away her darkness.
"Have you been using your magic lots lately, Lissa?" I asked. She nodded. I isghed then focused on the anger inside her and tried to pull it out of her and into me . When I was finished I felt really depresed straight away, the anger now inside me and ready to burst.
"Listen Rose, I love you and I wish the best for you and I'm going to help you figure this out, okay please just don't try anything reckless," her green eyes studied me. I nodded, all though I knew I could not keep to that promise.
Later after Lissa had left, there had been some questions about why the guard had let her down to see me, but that was all forgotten when I was told there was only one day to my trial. I was really scared now this was a life or death situation, but wasn't my whole life like that, fighting strigoi out in the dangerous world.
I tried to think about things I could say to defend myself but there was nothing. I was going to be convicted. My only hope was my farther or a way to escape. Come on Rose, I thought, Your a strigoi killer, you've escaped from Vladimirs lots of times, just find a way to escape. I was going down big time.
