She was laying on her bed when her parents entered the room. "Good Evening." They greeted and left her food to eat. They talked and watched movies before they left her. She closed her eyes, and she felt tired.

"Daphne." Her man came in, "Daphne?" He got nervous when he didn't got a response from her. "Daph?" He called again. "Hmm?" He felt relieved, he thought.. no.

He sat beside her hospital bed, trying not to disturb her. "How long have you been fighting?" He asked. "Three years? Ah no, four." She stated. "Are you tired already?" She sighed, "Not yet." He kissed her forehead, "You can rest now." He held her hand and kissed the back of it. "I know it's been a long day for you.." he smiled.

"I'll leave now." He said but his hand held her tighter. "I'll leave now." He repeated but his actions contradict it. "You can go now." she said but he didn't move an inch. She was staring at him, remembering every details of him. He chuckled. "How can I leave if you won't let go of me?" He asked, still laughing. "It's just.. it's too hard to let go of you." She sighed as he smiled at her. "You can leave now." And she lets go. He planted a kiss on her forehead again before he went out and closed the door. He was smiling but in every step he make away from that room fades his smile. Until he knew he was already crying, he doesn't even know why. It feels like he won't be able to see the person inside that room again.

The next day, he did his routines, stops for a shop nearby to buy fruits and went to the hospital to visit her. But someone didn't kept the promise.
