As soon as he received the call,
he rushed into the convenience store
she just told.

"Hey, man. Be careful with the door." The guy at the cashier said as a man wearing a black leather jacket, black pants paired with black shoes and a black cap banged the door and searched for her. She was sitting. "What happened?!" He asked, still in his current position. She looked at him with her eyes, starting to tear up again. "Seth.." without a word, he runs towards her and hugs her tight. The tears she holds earlier suddenly burst.

She cried on the arms of the man standing in front of her. She was scared, the image of the driver flashes in her mind that made her hugged him even tighter. "I was so scared.." he gently rubs her hair. "Shh.. I'm here now." He assured. With his words, her fear suddenly went away, she feels safe.

"I'll take you home." She stood up and they went outside the store, waiting for a cab to pass by. She was still shaking. He noticed it and held her hands without hesitation. "Everything will be alright." He assured her.

A cab stopped in front of them that made her step back. The scenario was flashed in her mind again. He opens the car door and held her hand tightly. He smiled. She took a deep breath before going in. It's not the same driver but whenever she looks at the man in front of them she can see his smirk. She immediately hugged his arms, crying.

They got into her apartment. "I'll go now." He bid his goodbye. He walked towards the door but before he could open it, she spoke. "Seth." He turned back, "hmm?" She was avoiding his eyes. "Thank you.."

He didn't even smiled nor nod. He just turned again and opened the door. "Seth!" She spoke once again. "C-can you stay here until morning?" He faced her once again with his forehead wrinkled. She looked down. "It's okay if you can't. Thank you.." she turned her back "Just lock the door, please." then she went inside her room and locked her bedroom door. He left.
