A quiet, but annoying, beeping echoed through the dark room as a pale hand slowly reached out from beneath the nest of knotted sheets. Long fingers tapping at the buttons on top of the alarm clock, unable to find the snooze switch. A groan sounded from the sheets as a head of sandy blonde hair wriggled its way out just enough so the person could turn off the alarm without so much struggle. "Why can't I just be able to sleep in already." The girl croaked out before sitting up, hunched over on her bed and pushing her sheets forwards until they're off her feet, peering upwards at her yearly calendar on the opposing wall with squinting eyes. Each day had been marked with an X up until that day, marking the lead up until the Summer break which happened to be starting the next day. Falling down onto her back she groaned. "Tomorrow's too long away." Lifting her feet of the bed and placing them on the not so soft carpet before staggering into the bathroom to get ready for school.
Hello, I won't be writing many authors notes through out this book (I hope) but I didn't think the prologue was enough for now so this is a teaser for the first chapter to give you an idea of this book. If you would like to comment or message me your idea's or thoughts on this book or if something that could be tweaked, I will be happy to listen and take in your opinion.
Thank you for considering reading my book and I hope what I've written so far was worth your time.
