It's been a while since Salem and Vivian had been feeling a certain type of way about each other, they've been friends since high school, he'd always known what his feelings meant, but Vivian on the other hand doubted what it was...

She always knew she always liked to be around him, his weird grandpa chuckle always made her feel protected by his, blue eyes that looked like both the sky and the ocean at the same, his chubby cheeks that look like the shape of her favorite doughnut..

They met at a party during their sophomore year, so this love is kinda like the story book type, but they never got around to saying the words, or making a move...

Vivian has had a few boyfriends asides being 8n love with Salem, and he? Well he has been the best friend, always there, giving advice, a shoulder to lean 8n type of thing, even though one can argue that they both knew about each other's feelings right from the onset but, their fear of loosing each other made them, settle for friendship or should i say best friendship, you know? When you're afraid to push too far so you you don't break what is for what could have been, so these two have been friends even up to till now.....

They're love for music was even a bigger and stronger connection, they sand together in the high school talent hunt, and always won, having to defeat people with other talents and all

They planned to to to the music academy together, and even after getting here, they both kept on as friends but after the party at Roseline's, things got juicer..

So while others seem to be having fun, including Vivian, Salem just made sure no one tampered with the love of his life, she was a hit drunk, just tipsy, as everyone, got drunk all the way, playing all sorts of games that ended up in making them take shots and get even more messed up, he just followed her like a shadow that isn't there, just looking out for her....

Whenever Vivian started to get too friendly he would go break it up as fast as he could, at some point it was clear that he was spoiling her fun....

Well... He didn't care

Things got worse when he saw Vivian with the school whore "man who that is" he totally lost it, he couldn't bare the sight of seeing her with Terry, he ran as fast as he could to end it, then he took her away, she was still tipsy almost drunk enough to loose control, but he came to her rescue again but this time she lashed out at him...

"stop, let me go" she said "why would i do that, you're letting loose" he said, "that's what i want, you should let loose too instead of spoiling my fun" he said "I'm not sorry i can't".....

They both spent a while arguing about having, fun, who should and who shouldn't, why who should and why who shouldn't "if you get"...

Vivian : let me be 8 want to be free

Salem : I can't do that, you don't know what you're saying

Vivian : I do, I'm tired having you as my shadow

Salem : but I want to be more than that

Vivian : what?.

Salem : yeah I said it, i want you to be mine, I'm tired of holding back and being scared of loosing you, i loose you every time I see you with someone who doesn't deserve you, i love you Vivian, i have loved you all my life

.... Vivian sits down dizzily, not knowing if it's from the alcohol or his words, she draws in deep breath and raises her head to look at him

Vivian : oh Salem...

Salem : yes Vivian, I really do..

Before Salem could say anything Vivian stands up and grabs his face and kisses him, Salem steps back to look at her, the stare at each other for a minute contemplating what to do next as if conversing with their eyes, in an instant they both rush at each other, she jumps at him, Salem catches her and they head for a room, not minding whose it was

While in the room they sit down on the bed, and Vivian's legs still wrapped around his waist, she takes off his white shirt, and looks at his arms that remind her of pillars, she smiles sheepishly and when he asks her why, she says "nothing, no more talking" he stands up with her still wrapped around him, and turns her to the bed...

Gently he kisses her forehead and the tip of her nose, then her lips, the her chest,, and he goes lower just when he is about to take off her bum short, there's a knock on the door and and the both cover themselves with a sheet, a guy and a girl's walk in on them....

Not caring if there was a response to their knock, they careless walk in and realize what they had interrupted they say sorry quickly and giggle out of the room..

Salem and Vivian look at each other and start to laugh hysterically, then their laughs slow down whilst they look into each other's eyes passionately, just then they go close enough and start to kiss each other, this time they waste no time, fearing that they'd be interrupted by someone else, they go under the sheets, and......

......
The next day after class, Salem couldn't believe had happened, he told everything that happened to Lex, confused as what to do about everything that happened, well Lex couldn't be of much help, he was in a dilemma  of his own about Roseline and what had happened at her house, and how he was going to explain it all to his girlfriend, he didn't know if he regretted his actions or not.
