Olivia Benson and Rafael Barba

Peter I can't date you.

She couldn't stop thinking about him. "He loves me. Rafael fricking Barba loves me. How? How can this be the case?" She was snapped out of her thoughts by a knock at her door  Barba had only just gone and her thoughts were still on him. "Fin come in what's wrong?" she said. "Liv. ADA Peter stone called and asked to talk to you. You were with Barba and I didn't want to disturb you. He said he has  left you a message on your answering machine." Olivia tried to not show anything to Fin but he could tell she wasn't comfortable. "Where does he think I am?" She said. "Well he guessed you had your phone on silent so he assumed a meeting. I went with that." He said. "Okay thanks Fin." Fin left and went to do his paper work. "Olivia its Peter. I was just wanting to let you know I leave for Chicago tomorrow. Hope your okay."  She deleted his voicemail. and typed him a text. "Peter its Olivia, We need to talk I was in a meeting and I seen you called Call me when you can."  She sent it and within the next 20 minutes he had called. "Benson." she said. "Hi it's Stone you wanted to talk to me." She was talking to Stone for 3 minutes when she emailed fin and Amanda telling them "if he wasn't off of the phone in 20 minutes make sure she gets off." as she didn't want to be on for long. "I wanted to talk to you about that date." He said. "Yeah. I'm sorry Peter I can't go on a date with you." She said. He sighed. "I will have to buy you a drink at Chief Dodds' party then. She sent an immediate text to Fin telling him to get her off the call. He came as soon as he got the message. "Sorry to disturb your call. We got a lead." He said, not really knowing how to do it Amanda had suggested to do the fire drill but he thought that was too extreme. "I'm sorry ADA Stone I have to go. Have a safe flight tomorrow." She said. "Okay  I'll speak to you after I get back tomorrow. Have a good evening." She put the phone down and Fin wanted to ask but he didn't. She sighed. "Shut the door." He did. "ADA Stone, asked me on a date. I turned him down and he's going to Dodds' party next month." She said in a slightly panicked voice. "Liv you'll be okay they'll be 100s of people there. don't worry about Stone. Me Amanda and  Carisi have your back and I am more than 100% certain Barba will as well."  Fin said. "Thank you Fin. Look at the time. I reckon another half hour and we should head home." She said looking at her clock on the wall which said 5:00. "Yeah I believe that should be enough for us. Amanda said she will be in to see you in a minute." Fin said opening the door to leave. "Does she need me to set off the alarm?" Amanda said. Olivia came out her office "No we are good Thanks Rollins. Carisi put a coffee on will you. 30 mins and then we can head home guys okay." she said as she shut the door. Carisi put the coffee on. "Coffee pass me one Carisi." Rafael said. "Councillor I didn't expect to see you here after I had gone over the case." Olivia said giving him a half smile. "Well there's a theory I have so it would be nice to here your opinion as well Barba." Amanda says with a small smile.  "Okay that's fine. Councillor we are staying for half an hour more and then we are all leaving." Olivia stated.
