I finished getting dressed into the gear that was provided to me from the Sargent.
It was a pair of close fitted olive green cargo pants and military jacket that were made of a thick fabric to protect my legs, arms and chest from cuts and scraps. Thankfully I was aloud to wear what ever I want under my jacket, I chose a dark purple tank top.

Due to the heat already from the sun i avoided the jacket and walked out of my room with my things packed, i met with the Sargent wait for me. "Are you ready to go soldier?"

I inwardly cringe at him calling me a soldier when I wasn't, I was more of a tool than anything. "I'm not a soldier," i pouted childishly up at the Sargent.

I turned and started to walk past him to where the exit is located. I heard the Sargent's foot steps fall in line with mine untill we got to the front desk for him to sign me out for the three day period ahead.

"On a secret mission again Amee?" The man at the desk was always nice to me, used my given name instead of the sick joke of a code, he never treated me like I was a freak or like I was dangerous, despite when he first started, I was still young back then and I had a bad temper.

"Amee?" I snapped out of my thoughts, blinking a few times before looking up at him. "Sorry I zoned out," i laughed awkwardly at my absent mindedness before continuing. "It's just fieldwork I'll be back in 3 days, try not to miss me to much."

"Well make sure you don't get eaten by a bear or biten by snakes." I gave him a nod, agreeing to be careful. "I'll try," before I could continue the Sargent forced me to get a move on so I wouldn't be wasting time.

"Excuse us Damien, we have others waiting for us." I gave the man at the desk a wave goodbye as I stepped outside, the sun was rather bright for still being early in the day. Pulling my bag off my shoulder I threw it in to the far side of the back seat and slid in after it while the Sargent go into the driver's seat.

I clipped my belt into place as the Sargent handed me my smart phone and headphones. Without hesitation I pulled my headphones on over my ears and flicked through the music, sorting it out to playlists and settled into my seat once I started the songs.

The music played softly as I looked out the window, watching the scenery go by, the sun started to sting my eyes so i pulled out my sunglasses out and continued to watch as we soon came to a stop at a booth. I witnessed the Sargent handing over his card of identification, the soldier in the booth gave him a salute before allowing the car to pass through.

I watched the man in the booth go by as he stared at me with a look of confusion, not long after we were stopping again a short distance away from a large military air craft, a number of men were moving the of some boxes.

I pushed my headphones backwards a little off my ears and unclipped my belt, moving towards my bag and leaning over it to watch what was going on.

The Sargent made his way out of the driver's seat and opened the door pulling my bag out before he motioned to me to follow, the men carried on with what they were doing only to do a double tack as I walked by. I felt on edge, I had never been comfortable around stranger's, this was no exception.

I pulled my headphones back over my ears to ignore everyone as I walked close behind the Sargent, the rest scrambled to finish their task's before filing in and taking their seats while the Sargent began to fix shackles in place on me before I wad strapped into my own seat.

I sat with my phone in my hands and my headphones still on, I could still move but not freely.
Between songs I could hear the soldiers talking, joking around and laughing.

"Hey Mackie, who do you think the kids is?" I watched in my peripheral vision the man named Mackie look in my direction.
"Maybe the Sargent's Daughter?"

"Don't be stupid why would he bring his daughter with him and do that to her." A third man had spoken up from the other side of the craft. I pretended to keep my eyes on my phone as he looked over to me.

He was met with me turning away slightly, this drew a response from the first guy who spoke up previously. "Holey shit she can hear us." I ignored the more but it didn't deter him from trying to talk to me.

"Hey kid, why you chained up like that?" His amused tone was met with my cold shoulder as I practically stuck my nose up. "You crazy or something? You know I like crazy."

"Don't be a creep Bradley, she clearly under aged. Maybe it's an escort mission?" The man named Bradley kept trying to speak to me despite me ignoring him, the man named Mackie remained nutrial with the situation while trying to ask questions to no avail.

The one who's name wasn't clear yet, kept telling Bradley to back off and stop being a creep, they eventually started to argue which drew the Sargent's attention.

He stormed in from upfront, being fed up with the noise. "What the hell is going on men?!" I moved my attention with the other's as he yelled his question to us.
The had their turn explaining what happened, Bradley tried to hide the fact he was trying to hit on me.

I bit my lip hard and decided to speak up. "Bradley is a creeper and despite being rejected he seems to not really have the brain capacity to process when to give up."

"You bitch!" Bradley stood up to make his way towards me. "Oh so you understood that?" I mocked him, unfazed by his attempt to be threatening towards me. The others stifled laughter.
"Sit Down soldier!" The Sargent yell at Bradley and waited for him to listen to his order.

Once the creeper sat down the Sargent turned to the men as he continued, "that girl is chained up for all of your safety, she can still move and is still capable of killing you if she wants to, if you get to close." Their eyes landed on me as I looked out the window across from me.

Everyone was silent as the Sargent went back to the front, the only sound was the craft and me letting out a yawn. "Nap time," I moved to face away from the all the others who were now staring at me from the front and the other side of the craft, I pulled my feet into my seat with my arms between my knees, the chains rattled as I got comfortable before falling asleep.
