"Samon," Nuan called from the bedroom, "Can you tell me if I have a meeting today or next week. My planner should be on the table."
"Of course." Samon finished with his tie.
He walked over to the white leather notebook and flip to the tab of the current month they were in. His eyes scanned across the dates and noticed a certain pattern hasn't arrived this month.
"Hey baby," Samon called out.
"Yeah?" Nuan walked out of the bedroom.
"Are you alright?"
"If course, I feel fine. Why are you asking?"
"You're missing a certain thing."
He handed her the notebook and pointed to what he was referring to, a tick mark appeared on her forehead as she smiled sweetly.
"The one time he actually pays attention to my period!" Nuan thought.
She took the notebook and placed a quick kiss on his lips.
"Thank you for being concerned," Nuan smiled, "but I'm fine. I just miss counted. Don't worry about it."
"Oh, okay," Samon blinked, "Have a good day at work."
"Thank you."
Nuan grabbed the planner from his hands before walking out the door. When she closed it she let out a sigh of relief before putting a hand on her stomach.
"I don't know what we're going to do with you," Nuan said looking at her flat stomach, "But you're not making this easy."
Nuan realized what she had just done, it freaked her out, she was starting to love the baby developing in her stomach. She had to keep her mind on something other than the baby, she still stood by her statement of not having it, she had to see what her husband had to say Friday and they can move on from there. Whether they get rid of the baby, or even keep it.
