After Erik's death, Aerrow and Piper meet up with Janos in his office to tell him what had happened.

Janos: So is it over? Is the Phantom of the Opera defeated?

Aerrow: Yes. He won't bother this Opera House anymore.

While Janos was overjoyed at the news, Aerrow and Piper felt sadness considering that they knew the truth about Erik.

Janos: It's a shame about what happened to Kraton. I know he was a Cyclonian and he threatened you, but he was a man who loved the arts.

Aerrow: There was nothing we can do. We had to defend ourselves.

Janos: I don't blame you. But the Phantom is defeated. And that's all that matters.

Piper: What happened with Madame Giry?

Janos: After what happened at the premiere of Don Juan Triumphant, she left this Opera House. She mentioned something about retirement.

Aerrow and Piper didn't blame her. What happened with Erik no doubt pushed Giry to make that decision. But Janos then brought up Piper's future as an Opera Singer.

Janos: Piper. I know it's a lot to ask, but would you join our Opera House? We would love to have your beautiful voice with us!

Piper took a moment to think about Janos's offer. But as she looked at Aerrow, her answer was clear.

Piper: Thank you, but I decline your offer. My dreams lies elsewhere.

Janos: I understand Piper. This Opera House is indebted to you nonetheless. If you ever change your mind, you are always welcome Piper.

Aerrow and Piper said their goodbyes as they left the Opera House. Some time later in the outskirts of Terra Neon, Aerrow and Piper visit the grave of Erik. The marker simply read Erik. Piper mourned her friend as Aerrow cuddled Piper.

Aerrow: Are you okay Piper?

Piper: Back home, me and Erik used to talk about our dreams. He wanted to be an Opera Singer and me wanting to be a Sky Knight. It's....it's terrible to see Erik turn out like this. He.....he didn't deserve what happened to him.

Aerrow: You can't blame yourself for what happened. You had no way of knowing this would happen.

As Piper looked at the grave marker, she shed a tear for Erik. Erik was cursed with loneliness for something he had no choice in. His Raptor like appearance brought on a loneliness that Piper couldn't comprehend. Piper was one of Erik's only friends in his entire life.

Piper: (Erik.....I''m sorry)

Piper then walked to the grave marker and placed the ring Erik gave her. As she left the ring on his grave marker, she remembered a time in her childhood when she spoke with Erik. They were talking with her room.

Young Piper: Do you ever get lonely Erik?

Young Erik: You're the only friend I know. But your friendship has given me more comfort than I can ever ask for.

The young Piper gave Erik a warm smile. Despite his appearance, Piper was not afraid of him. That warm smile shined a light in Erik's dark world. Piper then grabbed his hand.

Piper: I promise that no matter what, we'll always be friends!

That promise clicked something in Erik. He saw in that promise, something pure and beautiful. Something that Erik has never seen.

Young Erik: T....thank you Piper.....

The young Erik hugged Piper. She quickly returned the hug. Back in the present, Piper shed another tear for Erik. She remembered that shortly after that, she left for Terra Neverlandis with Aerrow and Finn to enact their dreams as Sky Knights to form the Storm Hawks. Guilt plagued her mind as she felt responsible for making Erik the Phantom of the Opera. Aerrow notices that Piper was being quiet.

Aerrow: Piper? Is there anything I can do?

Piper: He called me his Angel of Music. In his darkest days, he always thought of me.

Aerrow: He wasn't wrong about that. You're an amazing person Piper.

Piper: Are you sure about that? When he needed me the most, I left him. To pursue my dream, I left him to endure pain and loneliness. If I didn't leave him, he wouldn't have turned out the way he did! I.....I.....

As Piper became overwhelmed with sadness and regret, Aerrow hugged her.

Aerrow: Erik wouldn't want you to feel bad about yourself. He would've wanted you to live your life.

Piper looked into Aerrow's eyes and felt peace. He relived her of her troubles. Piper felt like the luckiest girl in the world as the two kissed.

Piper: Aerrow......thank you.....

Aerrow: I think I owe you a date! I don't think this counts considering it turned into a mission.

Piper let out a small chuckle.

Piper: Just being with you was worth it!

Aerrow blushed as he and Piper walked away from Erik's grave. What happened on Terra Neon would no doubt stick with her for the rest of her life. But despite losing her friend, she felt thankful for her bonds with her friends in the Storm Hawks. But most of all, her love for Aerrow. Their bond grew stronger from the strange and tragic affair of the Phantom of the Opera.
