Iris's Mom POV:
It was 1am when we got back. The house was very dim and i'm guessing that Iris is already asleep.
It was raining a little bit and it's very dark. We opened the front door with our spare key.
I was surprised on what i saw in our shoe rack. I know Iris has two boy best friends, but their not moving in our neighborhood until next week.
After me and my husband had changed into dry and comfortable clothes, we decided to check our daughter's room.
At the moment i opened the door of her room, i couldn't think of anything else but to wake them up
"YOUNG LADY WAKE UP!!" I shouted loudly
Iris's POV:
I was awaken by a loud shout from my mom. Guess the sleep over is a bad idea after all...oh no..
I woke the sleeping bear beside me and we headed down stairs to explain what the heck is happening..
"Mind explaining what that was?" My dad questioned while eyeing both of us
"Mom and Dad i'm sorry i didn't told you sooner but this is Xian, my umm...boyfriend" i began to feel nervous
"So if this didn't happen, when are you planing on telling us that you had a boyfriend?" My mom asked me angrily
"I umm..." I became speechless
"Ma'am, Sir, it's my fault. I should've asked for your permissions first before asking your daughter out" Xian answered for me instead
"It's alright that you have a boyfriend, but at least you could've told us first" my mom said disappointedly
"As a punishment, you two can't see each other for one week" my mom said
"No texts, no calls and you two can only see each other at school" my dad added
"Got that?" Both my parents said
"Yes ma'am and sir" Xian replied
"Yes mom, yes dad" i also said
"Now it's pretty late, you two can head to bed" my mom told us
"And since this is the last time you can talk to each other beside when your at school, i'm allowing you, Xian to sleep beside Iris tonight but no funny business ok?" My dad raised his eyebrows
"Y-yes sir.." he replied nervously
We head upstairs and got ready for bed again
My dad sometimes can be such a prick but he's as sweet as a gummy bear
And my mom..well.. the same thing goes for my mom
"I'm gonna miss you" Xian faked cried
"We can't see nor text or call each other tomorrow" i replied sadly as well
"We can wait right?.." i asked him
"Of course, someone great like you is worth waiting for" he winked at me
"No time to be cocky Xian, i'm really gonna miss your clinginess" i pouted
"Just my clinginess?"
"No, overall i'll miss you" i hugged him
"It's fine, besides it's our fault. We didn't tell your or my parents first" he hugged me also
We both let go of the hug and lay down my bed
"Let's sleep, it's already 2am" Xian touched my cheek
Xian's POV:
While i was touching her cheek, i noticed her eyes are glistening with tears that would fall any moment now
"Hey, hey..don't cry" i hugged her for comfort
"B-but i-i'll m-m-miss you.." she started crying
"I know, but after Sunday, we'll see each other eventually..so don't cry anymore ok?" I wiped her tear stained cheeks
"O-ok..goodnight" she said while hugging me still
"Good night too princess" i said while playing with her hair to calm her down
I'm really gonna miss holding this girl..she's just to precious for me so i don't want to see her getting hurt
But at first it's our fault
We didn't tell her nor my parents about us..so basically this punishment is worth it
While both Iris and Xian fell asleep, Iris's parents are looking at them sleeping peacefully hugging each other
No One's POV:
"I honestly ship them" Iris's mom said proudly
"Then why did you said that to them earlier" Iris's dad replied
"It's just a test to see if they are patient to wait for each other"
"I agree but i have to have a serious talk with that boy. I don't want our princess to get hurt because of him" Iris's dad said strictly
"Ohh dear..give the boy a little space" she replied to her husband teasingly
"Let's just sleep, it's already 2am" he said to her wife
Let's see what will happen tomorrow, will the two break the trust of Iris's parents or will the phrases "Someone great is worth waiting for.." prevail
Sorry it's a bit short, i'm running out of ideas this days but i'll do better next time danicad7
