i hadn't been talking to jonah since last night. it was the morning time as i got up from my bunk. i almost bumped into corbyn as i startled him.
"morning" i said forcing a smile.
his eyes locked with mine as he kissed my cheek.
"good morning" his voice mumbled.
he pushed his way away from me.
"is everything ok?" i said in a worried tone.
he never avoided me. never on purpose.
he pulled his hand away and walked out of the bus glancing back at me once before leaving. my heart dropped. it broke. he knew. he had to. a tear fell from my eye as i quickly wiped it away as i heard eben get out of the bathroom.
"morning daniel seaveyyy" he sang.
i turned around looking down to go change.
"morning" i let out with a crack in my voice.
eben's smile dropped as he pulled me in a hug.
"bro everything ok?" he said concerned.
i nodded lying.
"are you and corbyn fighting?" he whispered.
before i could open my mouth jack walked out.
"zach! for the millionth time" he stopped as he saw eben glare at him and i look away from him.
"ohhh sorry" he said hurriedly walking out.
the bus fell quiet except for zach's screams for outside.
"...it's nothing" i let out.
eben sighed as he examined my face for what it seemed like for the millionth time.
"...when your ready...talk to me" he whispered.
he pulled me back into a hug before walking out.
i couldn't make myself not forget about jonah. his soft lips and the moment that my boyfriend saw. he witnessed. i didn't mean to. i didn't have feelings for jonah. i loved corbyn. corbyn besson. jack's head popped out of the door as he walked in.
"dani?" he whispered.
"yeah?"
he walked over and wrapped his arms around me. pulling me closer. i sighed. the last thing i wanted to see was my best friend worrying about me.
"please tell me your ok" he whispered kissing my forehead. i shook my head. letting my tears fall.
"no nothings ok" i broke.
"hey don't cry dani" he said wiping my tears.
"i did something bad" i choked out.
jack's brown eyes gazed in mine as he frowned thinking of the situation i was in.
"corbyn." he let out.
i nodded my head. he brushed my messy hair and pulled me closer into a tighter hug.
"jack i'm going to suffocate" i said laughing through tears.
"but you love me" he snickered.
i couldn't keep my laughs in.
"at least i make someone happy" he smiled.
"your a dork shorty" i shot back.
he rolled his eyes locking his hand in mine leading me outside.
"why was zach screaming?"
jack didn't answer.
"jack what'd you do?!"
my own question was answered as zach sprung out on me as he pushed jack away. i laughed.
"tell him i didn't touch the goldfish!" he whined. he pleaded his hands up at me. i laughed.
"jack he didn't take it"
jack rolled his eyes lightly punching my arm.
"zach what the fuck why are you climbing on daniel"
jon's voice made zach groan as he got off me.
"jack is attacking me!"
jack through his hands up.
"i did fucking not!"
"language!"
"says you jonny"
jon glared back at zach.
"ok ok you win!"
jon rolled his eyes.
"apologize" jon said pointing to zach and then jack.
"ha!" he said and instantly regret. i choked on my laugh as eben fell to the floor laughing.
"fine! jacky i'm sorry" he pouted.
"it's ok zachy" he replied hugging him.
"just love each other gosh" i said.
eben nodded aggressively.
"wheres corbyn" i said kicking the rocks.
jack locked his eye contact with eben.
"with jonah why?" zach casually let out.
jack punched zach's shoulder.
"ow you bitch!"
my heart stopped hearing jonah's name.
"oh" i said worriedly.
not oh you idiot. daniel are you ok? what the fuck!
i'm officially diagnosing myself with literal adhd.
i snapped out of my thoughts as i saw jonah and corbyn walk back from the coffee shop. jonah and corbyn looked back at me. and then at each other.
what did they just talk about? about me? what?
"are we going to get on the road or not?" jon said.
zach and jack both raced to the bus. jonah smiles and waved back at me. corbyn walked up to me. i was scared what he was going to say.
"corbyn" he didn't let me finish.
his pillowy lips pecked at mine hugging my torso.
"i love you i always will dani" he whispered.
my heart broke knowing the fact that he knew or he didn't.
