it was the next morning as i glanced up from the couch daniel and i were on. it was sunday morning as the light from the bus's windows woke me up. daniel was cuddled on the other side of the couch.
"daniel" i said shaking him.
he didn't respond or move. i rolled my eyes.
"baby wake up" i whispered.
daniel flipped over to get into a more comfortable sleeping position facing me as his arm wrapped around my shoulder as he snuggled in my chest pulling me closer. my heart couldn't take in how adorable he was. his hand went inside my hoodie pulling my torso in closer. i kissed his forehead as his eyes fluttered open. the sun hit his eyes making his ocean eyes glow brighter. he was so close to me he could probably hear my heart racing. he let go of my torso and rubbed his eyes.
"mmm corbyn" he groaned burying his head in the crook of my neck.
"get up sleepyhead" i teased.
daniel shook his head.
"five more minutessss" he whined.
daniel rubbed his thumb on my stomach and continued to try to drift back to sleep.
"daniel i love you but"
"but whattttt"
he was being really cute.
"but we have a job stoopid"
daniel didn't move. after a while his hands wrapped around my torso carrying me off the couch.
"daniel put me down" i laughed.
he giggled. he gazed into my eyes as he put me down. his eyes fluttered down to my hand letting his interlock with mine. i walked closer as i planted a kiss on his lips. he didn't want to stop kissing me. i didn't want to stop kissing him either.
"d-daniel" i muttered between breaths.
"mhm?"
"we- we have to get ready before jon kills us"
daniel rolled his eyes as he pulled away.
"i like your hoodie" he smiled.
my cheeks started going pink.
"yeah? me too" i said messing his hair.
he squished my face.
"squishy"
"stop your so cute"
"yeah. i know"
he held my hand.
"but you love me"
i blushed looking down.
"shut up"
daniel rolled his eyes going to the bathroom to brush his teeth. he handed mine.
"what?"
he was giggling. the toothpaste flying everywhere.
"daniel ew!" i murmered.
he stopped brushing his teeth and cupped my face with his hands kissing me.
"daniel" i said through a breath.
"there's toothpaste everywhere!"
daniel gurgled water in his mouth.
"now there isn't let me kiss you"
"da"
he didn't even let me finish my sentence. he slammed me against the back of the bathroom covering me in kisses.
"i love you" he whispered.
"i love you too stupid"
he laughed as i picked him up.
"hey!" he screamed.
"shhh" i said putting him down"
daniel turned around to look around the bus.
"are they still asleep?"
i shook my head.
"they ditched us i see"
i giggled. they probably saw us knocked out in the back lounge.
"i'll text zach"
today 11:34 am
me: where are you idiot?
zach: good morning. i'm having breakfast with jack right now. we saw you guys basically swallowing each other's tongue
me: ZACH
zach: i'm not lying your hand was up his shirt
me: ZACH STOP TALKING
zach: ok ok chill ahhaa
me: where is everyone else?
zach: um i dunno i'm kind of stupid jon said to was a free day and jack and i didn't hear the rest of the conversation
me: of course you didn't
zach: jonah and eben went shopping and jack is yelling at the waiter because he got blueberry pancakes instead of chocolate
me: thank god i didn't come
zach: your missing out stoopid
me: i'm with corbyn it's ok
zach: a so cue
me: ok well have fun
zach: bye bye wuv you
me: love you toooo
i put my phone away. daniel finished brushing his teeth.
"zach and jack are eating jonah and eben shopping and the team is mia"
"well..."
he played with the hem of his shirt.
"what?"
his face went pink as he looked back up at me.
"let's go on a date" he said quietly.
"aww" i said looking down.
"i mean i never took you to one work always gets us busy and i love spending time with you"
he let out a smile with his cute ass tooth gap.
"ok where do you want to go?"
daniel made a thinking face.
"let's go to central park"
"ok"
the bus had stopped in new york for the show tomorrow.
"lemme just"
daniel threw on my hoodie and messed his hair.
i smiled at him already wearing his seavey hoodie.
"do i look ok?"
i smiled.
"you always look adorable" i replied pecking his lips.
"no you"
"no you seavey"
daniel rolled his eyes.
"i.love.you" he said booping my nose.
i blushed. he knew he made me soft.
"i love you toooo" i said wrapping my arms around his torso.
"now c'mon let's just pray zach and jack don't do anything stupid when they come back to the bus"
