"What can this letter even do?" She folded the letter. It was not the only letter she gets. There is a few more but this one caught her attention the most. It says something about eternal life. Something that she already have and wanted it to be rip out of her.

As human seek eternal life, she seek death. She always thought how can human wanting an eternal life if its only bring despair and suffering. She hates of it. Through her lifetime, she has met many who want eternal life. Many who willing to steps on other's head just so they could be on the top.

At one time, she thought of seeking partner. Thinking it could fill the void she have in her heart. Could fill up the loneliness she been feeling for a long time. Then, she realize. How can someone abnormal as she has a normal way of living.

She was once a researcher. Many has help her to seek death. Well, that was what she thought at the beginning. Human wear masks. She concluded that. She has been betrayed by many to trusted another. Too many. She rings a bell and a maid open her study room door.

"I'll be at the dining in an hour." The maid nodded and headed out. She walks inside. Letting the night breeze brush on her body. She clean her study table and place everything in the drawer. Heading towards the shower. Having her night like always. Sleeping after dinner and trying to forget to only remembered it again the next day.

She was still in Italy. Walking along the sidewalk. Watching people buying stuff from cupcakes to jewelry, hat to shoes. Hatleen still sleeping in the hotel room they decided to stay after a resort room in east Italy last week. Luccean didn't feel like opening the store for awhile.

Deciding this will be their last week in Italy, Luccean think she should at least bought somethings. She walk into one of the boutique, only to be chase out after because of her so 'low-taste' fashion. What was said by one of the employees working there. She walk a bit more. People can be a little to judging, she always knew that so it never mind her.

"Sorry!" She said it in Italy as she bumped to someone. A woman in early twenty, judging by the looks. The maiden just smile and gesturing that it's okay. She look ahead again. But, everything seems blurry and she started to feels a bit dizzy. Her head hurts. Like, a lot. She press her side on a wall nearby.

She looks back. Scanning through the crowds hoping to caught a glimpse of the girl. Nothing. She couldn't see anything anymore as she collapse on the ground. The last thing she heard was a man voice calling her name. The voice sinking and she saw black.

Rosemary was cleaning her study table. It was too dusty in her opinion. Cassia was listening to her post-rock music on the bed while reading the novel Freesia brought for her. Freesia who came from the kitchen has a tray of biscuit and three glass of milk for their late dinner. Cassia never agree to have late night dinner. It make her fat, but she just go along with her sister's habit.

"Don't you think the man's weird?" Mary take a sip of the milk.

"What do you mean?" Cassia stop reading. Fold the pages she last read and close the book. Let it be on her bed. Joining in to sit in between her sisters.

"I have been watching their attitude since they came the other day. That Rufus guy keep stealing glances at mom. I don't know if he was just checking out or maybe flirting, but it look totally creepy." Freesia tilt her head at her sister explanation.

"No. No, Mary. I think he watch it with intention of.. approaching. It like he want to tell mom something but, maybe he's afraid?" Freesia said while sipping the milk. Finishing it.

"Really? You thought so?" Freesia nod. Cassia already climbing up her bed when she ask Freesia. Feeling unsatisfied with the response she get, Rosemary tried to highlight it even more.

"But.."

"Mary. No offense, but why are you so against them? This is not the first time you talk to us about it. I'm getting odd feeling from this." Mary look hesitated. Freesia and Cassia just waiting for answer but no answer came the next second.

"Nothing. I'm sleepy. I'm off to bed first. Goodnight." She pull her blanket all over her body. Cassia look at Freesia, but the girl just sigh and shrug her shoulder.

"Better sit down first. The milk might not digested fully yet." Cassia said while she softly pat away any dust that might be on her pillow.

"Just don't want your stomach to ache. Okay?" Mary just simply replied it with a little 'hmm'. They know Mary was hiding something, but, don't want to make it long, they just decided to let the topic off. Mary has always been like that but she's kind. She'll still tied up their hair even thought she feels angry at the moment. Still will make breakfast and wait for them to come home. She just a little stubborn.

Rufus who listen to the whole conversation feels relieved that Freesia didn't come out to put the tray but just switch their room light off. Rufus feels scared that he might can't keep the secrets for a bit longer. He look left and right, hoping no one see him and walk to his room. Well, he can just hope.
