Raven held out his arms in astonishment. As his marks transformed, it burned his skin. "What's going on..." Raven mumbled, looking up at Danny with confusion in his eyes. The instructor just stared, and shook his head, "This is unheard of.. Unfortunately, I do not have an answer for you right this moment Raven." Danny ran his hands through his mess of golden hair, "return to your dorm at once, we will talk in the morning."
Raven spun around and headed to his dorm without another word. So many things have happened to him in such a short period of time. While walking down the empty hallway, the little voice returned to the demons head, 'Raven...~' the voice purred, and Raven squeezed his eyes shut, he was really getting sick of all these voices, "what..." He said aloud, as he pulled at his dark hair. 'They're going to kill you Raven... Leave this place, or kill them before they get you!'
The demons head exploded with a terrible, pounding pain. He groaned as he felt his wings grow in, and his sharp teeth shift into place. There was no turning back no. Like mad man, Raven tore the hallway apart, he heard screams erupt from trainees, and it was like they were cheering him on. Raven unleashed a terrible screech, and laughed as he made his way down the hall.
The voices were laughing at him, it filled his head and practically drove him to madness. Instructors poured out of their rooms, shouting orders to one another. "Raven what the hell do you think you're doing?!" Danny shouted, as he sent demons forward to take him down. "I'm going to kill you before you kill me!" Raven laughed, then shot through the buildings ceiling.
The demon looked down at the institution one last time, and the last thing he saw was Lucy, her face was stained with tears as she watched him fly off. It took a while before Ravens sanity returned. He landed several miles away from the institute, then let his wings sink back into his skin before he curled up into a ball and squeezed his eyes shut.
All he could think about was what he had done. He could have been safe, and had something to do with his life, but just like that, he blew it. He blamed the damn voice in his head, that either taunted him, or lead him on. Worst of all, he saw Lucy's tear stained face every time he closed his eyes.
