Chapter 15

I got up from the couch and stretched, we had been binge watching the show all day. I decided to go to my room and call Liz back, I sat on my bed and dialed her number. After a few things she answered "Hey. You screening my calls now" she laughed. I chuckled "no we were watching Netflix" I told her she oooed "Netflix and chill?" I laughed "wish I could hit you"

"so whats up?" I asked laying back on my bed staring at the ceiling. "Yeah well the guy that called me had a girlfriend. And she was the one calling to tell me to stop flirting with her man and blah, blah, blah." Liz laughed a little as she spoke then added an Oops at the end. "sounds like you're not getting laid tonight." I shook my head. "well I was gonna see if you could ask Sam and see if he he wanted to come over and hang out for a bit" "Liz!" I was shocked. 

"What?!" its just a question" she got defensive before laughing again. "Liz. Stop. No!" I couldn't help but giggle, "why not? Don't think he will?" she asked making me realize she was actually serious. "Liz he was genuinely upset when you ghosted him. Just because he's  famous doesn't mean he doesn't have feelings dude" I tried explaining it to her and she made a pouty sound.

"I'm serious dude...." I said my voice trailing off. "Boo" she was officially pouting at this point. "If this is why you called we're gonna fight Liz" I said rolling my eyes, "No, no, no dude I was calling you back about the call you got from Zach." she spoke fast like she was getting nervous. "Yeah I'm pretty weirded out by  it dude" I sat up in bed and began messing with my nails holding the phone with my shoulder. "My mom said that she could feel his presence but I thought she was just being crazy" I stood up from my bed and walked downstairs as she talked.

"But I noticed that it's a lot colder in his room than usual and there's been a lot of creaking upstairs when no one is up there but you know I just ignored it." She sighed and said maybe she's crazy under her breath. "No you're not Crazy his spirit could be hanging around" I looked through the fridge for a snack as I spoke with Liz getting kinda bored of the conversation "hey Liz? Imma let you go Sam and Colby are gonna leave soon and I wanna spend a little more time with them wanna come over for dinner?" She said yeah and we hung up the phone.

I headed back into the living room with a tub of cubed pineapple sitting between Sam and Colby who were watching the office. "What time were you guys planning on hitting the road?" I asked looking at Colby. "Hmmm maybe 5ish" he said looking up from his phone and grabbing a piece of pineapple. I nodded and looked at his phone, I caught a glimpse before he turned off the screen and put his arm around me. Meg again.... I couldn't tell what they were talking about so I shrugged it off.

"I'm gonna miss you guys. But I'll be moving to LA in a few months" I looked at Sam and Colby. I felt sad they were leaving bit I was so happy they were here in the first place I couldn't help but smile. Sam leaned over grabbing some pineapple and smiled back, "you'll sell the house in no time Y/n it's a beautiful place". I nodded at his comment and leaned against Colby a happy sigh escaping my lips.

I kissed Colby and gave Sam a big hug before they got into their car to start the long drive back to LA. I cried a little waving to them as they drove away. I had called Liz right before they left and she said she was on her way with two bottles of wine. I headed inside and continued make dinner for us.

Liz walked into the kitchen without me noticing "hey girl!" She yelled scaring the crap out of me. "Jebus Liz don't do that!" I said glaring at her. I handed her the 2 plates "set these on the table" I grabbed one of bottles of wine and 2 glasses. I opened the wine and sat across from Liz at the table pouring us each a little too much. "So did you get some?" Liz asked smiling at me. I rolled my eyes "my sex life is none of yours business but if you must know yes. A lot." I said laughing. We both laughed and continued to gossip through the duration of diner.

We migrated to the couch opening up the second bottle of wine. "So Elton is single right?" Liz asked. I shrugged and laughed "why you wanna get in uncle Eltons pants?" She laughed and pour more wine in each of our glasses. "Maybe. I mean he does have that manly oomf" I burst out laughing "Manly oomf!?!?!" I wiped the tears forming in my eyes from laughing so much. "Yeah like his broad chest and beard" she tried to explain but I was laughing too hard to even bother listening.  "I love you Liz but you are so weird" I said taking a drink from my glass.

"Ok so I have to ask you something but don't get all sus ok" I said holding up my finger ☝️. She nodded so I continued. "So there is this girl Meg thats been texting Colby since he's been here. She text him super late saying she missed him then another night she called super late and he was texting her after I called you today. I'm kinda weirded out." She hummed like she was thinking then took a drink of wine "did you ask him andout it" she leaned over grabbing the bottle pouring a little bit more in her glass. "No I asked Sam about it he said she was just a friend from LA but then he got all weird...." I grabbed the bottle from her topping off my glass.

"Weird" she looked at me and frowned "I'm sure its nothing though Y/n he love you a lot" she smiled then hugged me. We finished both bottle and fell asleep on the couch talking about me moving to LA and her moving in with me.
