This world could be described as cruel, inhuman, terrible, in other words, the world was fucked up. The government is telling the people all kinds of lies, how they need young teens to test them so they can provide the population the power of living forever or get super powers. All that was bullshit. The government wanted it for themselves, to keep their fucked up ruling system and get the populations trust and money.

Chan knew about all of that, he knew about all the lies and empty promises. Even though mysterious fluids were running through his veins and he was captivated in the lab of the 9th district for multiple years, he knew about all of it. He saw so many inmates escape, alone or in groups, he saw so many people die just because the scientists didn't need them anymore and gave them an overdose "by accident" or because how inhumanly they were treated.

Chan was kept alive for so long just because he was titled as excellent and that his results were over the top. He hated it. He wanted to leave, live a normal life and start a family once but he knew he couldn't, not if he's gonna stay in that (by-him-named) shithole. The fact that his clostest friends were getting weaker every time they went with one of the six scientists didn't make him feel better either.

One day, while he had to give out medicine to his friends and check their marks on their wrists, he gave them little red rolls, whispering to them that they should open them in their cells. His plan was brilliant, over-thought multiple times. He would just go with the ones that showed up to the meeting point after the scheduled stay at the gardens of the lab.

And when he noticed that all nine of them entered the bus that stood there after the new teens were brought in, he had to smile to himself before he started the engine and left. The boys changed their plain, white clothes into the ones in the bus that were left over by the new "test objects".

Just like that they left, drove as long as they could before the bus stopped, being out of gas. "Guys, let's go to the city to tell the people about what is happening in the districts. We can't just let families let their kids go to be objects that are treated like we were.", Woojin, the eldest said, looking hopefully into the eyes of the other eight boys. They agreed with him, running before anyone assigned by the government would find them.
