Two weeks has passed and it was already the sports festival. I've forgotten all about the book but my emotions for Todoroki grow everyday my heart races every time he gets close to me. I have started talking to him again but he seems off lately. Off as in more distant towards me.
My morning was normal but I was feeling a little anxious for the challenge. I promised myself my anxiety was not going to take over whatever happens I won't let her take over!
The walk to school with Midoriya was exiting he was so hyped it made me smile. His vibes were rubbing of on me. I soon caught myself grinning at him. I really couldn't help it so I let it happen. ~~~~~~ Once we arrived at school we were ordered by aizawa to change into the p.e uniforms. I was okay with it but the class seemed to hate the idea. It's not that my costume is ugly it's just I'd rather not be wearing that in front of everyone. It's super skin tight. I wore a pair of durable shorts and a durable sports bra under my uniform.
We were in the waiting room "Midoriya" Todoroki said sternly. "Hey Todoroki what's up?" Midoriya aked curiously. "From an objective standpoint I think it's very clear that I'm stronger than you!" He replied. "Mm yeah" was all Midoriya could muster up.
"However, you have AllMight in your corner helping you out! I'm not here to pry about what's going on between you two but know that I will beat you." Everyone's faces went blank
"woah what's with all these decelerations of war lately?" Asked Kaminari. "Yeah what's the big deal? Why did u pick a fight and right before we're starting?" Asked Kirishima putting his hand on his shoulder. Todo shoved Kirishimas hand "were not here to make friends don't forget this isn't a team effort." Todoroki was about to leave when Midoriya spoke up.
"I don't know what's going on in your head or why you think you need to tell me you'll beat me. Yea of course your better than me. Everyone will be comming for us I'll be aiming for the top too." Midoriya looked confident.
We were stepping into the coliseum and everything began shaking I was internally panicking. The floors turned to jelly. Everyone around me was doubled. All the other classes were walking in too.
Midnight was talking I couldn't hear her though. Everyone was staring at me!what is she wearing?!
Someone placed a hand on my shoulder "L/n!" HUH?! Nonononono!! my face was pale at this point. "Woah calm down L/n you just have to go up there for a few words you'll be fine." Said a red headed male. "I-uh thanks kirishima" Something about his gesture calmed me down.
I took a deep breath walking up to the stage knowing exactly what I was going to say.
"MAY THE BEST CLASS WIN!" I pumped my fist up looking down at my class mates smirking letting the cheers from the crowd feed my confidence. It boosted up to a million after that. I wanted to conquer the games and everyone in them.
I went down high-fiving every kid in my class. "Wow L/n that was a serous confidence boost!" Kirishima gleemed with happiness. "Thanks kiri it was all you!" I smiled. Kirishima began to blush. "Gee thanks L/n."
