Ch.5 The Mizukages Wrath Pt.1

Been a while since I updated. Been crazy busy lately but let's begin.

Y/N begins to walk up towards Mei who is fuming mad at Ao and Xavier's behavior on their failure of a mission. "I swear that if the information isnt good enough I will throttle you," says Mei enraged at the two of them. Mei then looks over to Y/N and her expression begins to slowly soften but still has a look of anger that isn't directed towards Y/N. "Mei look it's easy to be angry at the two of them and don't get me wrong I'm angry at them for their behavior as well. Some of their information is valid I checked up on it," says Y/N. "I understand that Y/N but they could've jeopardized the mission!" Shouts Mei. Y/N looks at her with a small smile and nods while closing the distance before stopping in front of her. "They will be disciplined for their actions by doing community service and fixing the destroyed buildings that happened during the former Mizukages attacks," says Y/N looking at Mei for her approval. "Sounds like a very fair deal  Y/N but once they're done with that they will be demoted to only taking D level missions," added Mei. Ao and Xavier are taken away by Mist guards to begin their Community Service still bickering at each other. This leaves both Y/N and Mei alone in the room.

"Y/N I wanted to thank you for calming me down. If it wasn't for you I would've done something I might've regretted," says Mei with a sweet smile on her face. "I'm just doing what I believe is right Mei. My hokage sent me her for a purpose and I won't fail her nor do I want to disappoint you," says Y/N with a determined look. Mei feels a shock go through her body at seeing that look. "You've done nothing wrong to make feel disappointed in you and I feel you won't ever do anything to dissuade me to think otherwise. There was another reason why I requested you over the other leaf ninjas that were brought forward to keep by this Village's council," says Mei. Y/N looks at her slightly confused with a bunch of question marks forming on his face. Mei tries to hold in her giggles but failed. "You should see the look on your face. The reason why I requested you was because I trusted you to get the job done and the fact I wanted to get to know you better," says Mei while smiling brightly at him. "I don't know what to say Mei but thank you for requesting me. I also wanted to get to know the Mizukage since I heard that she is a beautiful woman. I truly am happy to get to know you Mei and I look forward to working on ending this threat to your village. I'm going to head back to the Mansion to go over what we have learned if you want to join me," says Y/N grinning. "I have to finish some things here first but I will be there in a few," says Mei with a happy expression on her face.

Y/N makes his way to the mansion to begin his investigation. He goes into the room that both of them use for making plans. Sometime passes by and Mei finally comes home. She goes into the kitchen to make the both of them some tea. After making some tea she heads to where Y/N is. She smiles when she sees him so engrossed in the notes he had gathered. Y/N looks up at the feeling of being watched. Once he sees Mei his demeanor changes to a calm one. "I made us some tea while we go through all of the notes of this Rebellion," says Mei. Y/N accepts the tea and takes a drink which tastes excellent. The two of them begin to go over all the different type of notes that were taken. "Seems to me that this leader has been a key member of the mist from what I'm reading," says Y/N. "Yes it does seem like this leader was also apart of the bloody Mist stage," adds Mei. Eventually the both of them start to strain their eyes due to becoming tired. The two of them decide to call it there and just relax in the other's presence. "So Mei, have you ever been with a significant other?" Asked Y/N. Mei glares at him which softens when she sees his serious look. "I haven't been with another. I fear I scare off potential suitors because of how I am," sighs Mei. "Well the way you are doesn't bother me at all. In fact I like the way you are. So don't worry too much about it there are many men that would feel the same way as myself," says Y/N. Mei after hearing
Y/Ns monologue looks at him with a beautiful smile and knows that he is telling the truth. What Y/N doesn't know is that Mei feels strongly towards him and will do anything for him to become hers.

After conversations between the two died down they head to bed. The next day Y/N heads out towards the whereabouts of the Rebellion leader while Mei is making sure the two knuckleheads are doing their community Service. The mission Y/N is on begins to prove more difficult when he finds himself surrounded by former Mist ninjas.

Short one here but I'm trying to space out the chapters so I'm not putting a lot into one chapter. So both Mei and Y/N are beginning to get much closer to each other. Going to make this a two parter I have a idea for the next chapter ao just wait and see.
