The next morning was bustling with commotion. I walked out of my room with my blanket wrapped around myself and over my head like a hood with a large yawn.
Steve, tony, pepper , Natasha, and Rhodes were all sitting in the kitchen talking over omelets.

"We need to keep her here, she can't go out in public anymore. It's too dangerous, what if she gets hurt."
"No can do Steve, we take her out of school, people will start to put the pieces together."
"Okay well what if we just "remove" one of her teachers and replace them with one of your guys tony,"
"Rhodes, that's ridiculous."

I rolled my eyes listening to their banter as I get closer.
"Does she get any say in this matter?" I ask sassily. None of them seem surprised that I am standing there because they all unanimously, with a monotones voice say "no". Except for tony.

"Why aren't you dressed for school?"
I feel the weight in my chest lift and I smile. "Wait Seriously?" I ask excitedly, and at the same time, the others say the same thing in a dumbfounded tone.
Tony shrugs, taking a bite of toast. "I got this under control. Don't worry."

Peter's POV
Panic.
Pure panic.
And, oh what's that? Panic.
I tap my pencil anxiously on my desk as I wait for y/n to enter our class.

She was tony starks daughter. She's my bosses daughter.
Now I'm supposed to protect her, from what? Become friends with her is what Mr. Stark said. He said to work my peter charm. Last time I did that it did not end well.

"Peter!"
I was snapped back to reality by y/n standing across from me.
"I said your name like 3 times, are you okay?" She asked with a half chuckle and smile. She sat down in her seat and shuffled her stuff around.

I licked my lips and began to stammer. "You know, the project is over. You don't have to sit with me anymore."
Stupid! That's the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do!

"I actually like this seat. Skylar is blinder than a bat. Plus I like sitting towards the back more." She simply shrugged.

I gave her a half smile and a nod. "Yeah, well the seat is yours for the taking. Well, don't actually take it because so-"

"I know peter," she giggled softly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear while looking down. I thought I was the most beautiful thing she'd ever done and it caused me to smile wildly and let out a pitiful chuckle. "Yeah, you're pretty smart."

"So are you." She replied back with a compliment. "Say, what were you mixing over the sides of the tables during our lab?" She questioned. Just when I couldn't be more panicked, more panic.

"Oh, um. Just something more fun. More explosive." I bit the inside of my lip. Because explosions is exactly the thing to make anybody uninterested. The smirk slowly spread across y/n's face and she leaned closer to me.
"Let's blow something up then, get outta class early."

I hesitated, this was not a good idea at all. Before I had any time to react y/n had already began working. Unluckily and Luckily for us, we had a very back seat. Which means we were closer to the chemical in the lab.

She casually leaned back in her chair and pulled a bobby pin out of her pocket. She picked the lock rather quickly and the door to the cabinet of chemicals slowly swung open. She kept one careful eye on the teacher the entire time. I couldn't tell what she was grabbing because I stayed focused on the front of the room the either time.

She slowly slid back down with effortless silence. I didn't even hear the cabinet door shut. I glanced over at her, she was biting her lip with a satisfied look on her face which made me smile.
I looked at the ingredients she had placed on the table, which were only a few. I figured she would empty out the whole cabinet with the ideas she has running through her big, beautiful brain.

"What are you doing?" I whispered to her. She opened a drawer next to her and pulled out a large beaker.
"I'm using Hydrogen peroxide, potassium iodine, water and soap to create a simple reaction. It's going to create-"

"A large foamy explosion, right? Because the potassium will remove the oxygen from the peroxide?" I realized I kind of jumped in and rambled for a bit. I didn't mean to, but I couldn't help it. God, that was so embarrassing. I hated when I just went on with a bunch of science things. It just excited me. What if she thinks that I'm a nerd now, or she didn't know that would happen and she just did it for fun one day.

My what ifs were cut off by a smile that curled up onto her lips. She looked at me with what seemed like a new fondness in her eyes. "Yes, exactly."
I felt relief fill up inside me and let out a small breath. She slid the beaker over to me and instructed me to fill it with water and dish soap and Mix it up. I did as I was told as I saw her carefully mix together the other two ingredients.

At this point, a few back table students figured out what we were up to. Luckily, like me, they were the quiet kids, so they didn't say anything.
She looked over at me and smiled with a nod. She took the large beaker with soap and water from me.
"I can take all the blame if you don't wanna go through with it." She whispered to me. I was nervous, I'm not going to lie. But, for some reason, I wanted to be in it with her. Even if it meant a couple days of suspension. That means just a couple extra days for me to fly around as Spider-Man.

I gently placed my hand on her forearm and smiled. "Let's do it."
She smiled wildly, getting this certain glint in her eyes as she poured each solution inside of each other.

The foam exploded into the air and all over the table in a sizzling heap. The whole class gasped. Some laughed, some stunned, but the teacher, pissed beyond belief.

"Y/N AND PETER, GO TO THE OFFICE NOW!"
I had never really been in trouble in school before. I was always the good kid, so the guilt and shame I felt was weird. But once we got outside the door and I saw the satisfied and happy look on y/n's face, all that went away.

She held her hand up to me to High five and we both laughed about it. "Oh man, his face was priceless!" She marveled. I laughed along side her and nodded. "That was kind of satisfying in a way."

She stopped for a second and looked me up and down a little with a smirk across her face. "You know Peter Parker, you're alright."

Phase one of becoming her friend, complete.
