My eyes immediately widened after what I've read. How the hell did he get my number?

"Oh yeah hi. How did you get my num?"

I changed his name in my phone to "V✌🏻"

"I asked Jinhee to give it to me. You don't mind, do you?
-V✌🏻

"What the- why would he want my freaking number? I don't mind it though..." I said while replying to him.

"Ofc I don't. How are you though?"

I sent the message then placed my phone on the kitchen table. I took the bowl of soup to my Mom's room, knocking on the door before getting in.

"I made you some soup Mommy~" I said while smiling sweetly at her. She smiled back then mumbled a thank you.

"I'll be downstairs, call me if you need me." I said before going out of the room, heading back to the kitchen to get my phone. When I placed my hand on the phone, a message popped up. It was from V.

"I'm good, I guess.."

"What about you? I heard
that your Mom is sick, is she okay?"
-V✌🏻

I smiled just by looking at his message. He cares for my Mom even though we just met today.

"I guess she's fine now
and I am too, thanks
for asking"

And after that he didn't reply. I didn't really care about it since I thought that he had some things to do. I sat for a bit on the couch till a message popped up on my phone's screen. I looked at it and it was from Jinhee.

"Hii gurll. Can I slide into your dms ;)?"

I laughed at her message.

"Lol stop that haha. You can come to
my house if you pass by."

"That's what I meant! Lmao"

A slight chuckle escaped my lips before the door bell rang. I got up and went to open it.

"Hii Kate!" I was surprised by Jimin,Yoongi and Hoseok that were infront of my front door with Jinhee.

"Wow. What are you all doing in here." I smiled at them, signaling them to get in. They got in and I noticed that Jimin had a bouquet of flowers in his hands.

"We just came to check on your Mother." Yoongi said, making me look at them with a shocked but happy face.

"Oh My God guys you're literally the best." I said, hugging them one by one.

"Thank you, is she awake?" Jinhee asked. I looked at the stairs then back at them.

"Uhh, I'll go check quickly. Make yourself at home." I quickly went up the stairs to my Mother's room. I opened her door once I reached there. Surprisingly she was awake. She looked at me then smiled and I did the same.
