After that day, y/n felt at home working as a cashier, she could keep herself busy with the many tasks she was in charge of. The one thing between her and the peaceful working routine she wanted was her annoying boss.

But right now, all she wanted to focus was on how Harper had run all the way to a baby shower just so she could tell her boss that her future husband was cheating on her.

She didn't like cheesy things (a/n, so I've heard for like the tenth time yeah) never seen a romantic movie before except for 'Love actually' which was the only thing on tv during christmas.

Then she remembered how stupid it had been of her to ask Liz for movie recommendations. They didn't use to watch any other genre of movies apart from horror ones, since neither her nor Soojin liked romance. But one thing Liz was into were romantic comedy plots and some plain character development. Therefore why she recommended her 'Set it up'. A story about two strangers who met through truffle mac and cheese and fell in love while eating pizza.

After being the entire afternoon listening to music, lazing around, eating chocolates and witnessing the ending of another romantic movie that ends with the two main characters together, she realized she was actually tired.

She had had the day before and this one off from the cafe and took advantage of it to finish all of her paperwork which had been a hell lot of work, thus ended up pulling an all-nighter to finish it. It had been long since y/n could spend her evening doing nothing, so she thought it'd be a good idea to sleep -at least that's what she had planned- but since for unknown reasons she wasn't able to, she ended up watching movies and all of the above.

She hoped she would be tired enough after the long ass movie, and so decided to close her eyes and let tiredness take over.

But of course, that didn't work.

Just about a few days ago one of her coworkers told her that the editorial was planning on increasing work schedules since there had been layoffs -meaning the company was about to fall apart but wanted to try nonetheless-.

Therefore even if she had put an all nighter the day before and had been watching a boring pair of friends realizing they had feelings for each other, she kept thinking about the work she would have to put up with and the boy who had been the entire day on her mind, and by the entire day she meant the entire week.

Needless is to say this mocha guy was getting on her nerves. Why was she so captivated by his smile? By his eyes? By... him? The more she thought about him the more confused she felt, it was like the kind of panic you feel when you have been procrastinating on a project or essay and the due date is close by, very close.

During the course of two weeks they became kinda acquitted. Though their first meeting had left them with no introduction, they forgot they didn't actually know each other when they chitchatted while he asked for another white chocolate mocha. As if it just didn't matter, because they felt like not knowing each other was for the best, or maybe because they felt like they already knew each other.

That she kept overthinking, perhaps watching a romantic comedy wasn't the best to solve this kind of issues, now the more she thought about him, the less she felt like sleeping. And that clearly pissed her off.
Well if thinking about that mocha guy was preventing her from sleeping all she had to do was stop thinking about him. The thing is if she knew how to do that she would have done it long ago...

Then her mind started to wonder, now truly tired, and thought about the silkiness of his hair and how it fell on his eyes when he laughed, hiding the small wrinkles that formed around them. He had to be a painting, art of some kind. How could he be real?
Those were the thoughts she had with her ringtone as background music.

Ringtone?

And that's when she realized her phone was telling her to get the hell up and answer the call. It took her a lot of effort to move from her actual spot, with her eyes half closed she checked her phone and saw the call was from Jk. What could he possibly want this time?

After listening to all kinds of lies and whining, she just sighed and bid farewell to the idea of sleeping on her day off.

"This is the second time this week Jeon, guess you haven't lost your bus card on the laundry basket again, you know I don't work for free" she said warning him. She didn't mind covering up for him once or twice, but she had to make sure it didn't become an habit. Oh and she also had to sleep.
"Ok ok! I'll give you something in exchange I promise but please I really can't go right now" He said pleadingly to the difficult lad.

"And what is that thing?" y/n asked with a mischievous and annoyed tone.
"What? Uh... what if I introduce you to my friend? Or give you his number?" Jungkook quickly recommended as he thought it would be something the girl would like.
"Who-? More like, why would I want your friend's number?" She asked back confused. Amazed at how Jeon thought that lame offer worked as a proper payback for working extra hours.
"...You know, the blond guy who comes often to the café and glances at you shamelessly?" the boy in the other line said carefully.

y/n choked.

"You mean the mocha guy?!" she said slightly raising her voice. Did they know each other? Wait, shamelessly?

"Mocha guy? Either way, yeah, that's probably him." Jk said guessing his friend hasn't had the balls to ask her out yet -not even to ask her name-."So? What do you say?"

"I still have no clue as to why I would want his number" She said, although she felt curiosity for the mocha guy who was always on her mind. "Look, you can just cover up for me next weekend".

"Why? Where are you going? A date?" He asked, eager to know about what y/n had planned as a fellow gossiper.
"None of your business, well gotta go to cover up for you, you big brat" She hung up not before hearing the said brat exclaim something far from audible.

Y/n didn't really have anything important planned for the weekend, she just had to meet with Soojin and Liz to choose the wedding's menu, they were supposed to meet on Thursday last week but the marketing staff delayed it. Apparently this 'getting married' thing is on constant demand and many different couples want to try it out, how rare indeed.

Even though she felt like finally falling asleep after being many hours awake, she had committed to cover up for Jk. Plus being busy right now may be what she needed.

So she got changed in the blink of an eye, ready to head to White Blossom café and secretly hoping to see the guy who was unconsciously stealing away hours of her sleep.
