I peeked out of my room hearing different male voices yell about the football game. I quickly made my way downstairs and to the kitchen. I began making a plate when Uncle Trey walked in.

"Nieceee" he said hugging me.

"Hey Unc" i smiled.

"Why you whispering?" he asked.

"I'm not supposed to be here" i said.

"Fuck you hiding from?" he asked.

"That big black ass boy in there next to Kobi" i said.

"Dede said he cool people" Trey said.

I rolled my eyes.

"First of all, Desmond is a opp.. But i told him i had a date today so he could leave me alone" i explained.

"And yo' lying ass don't got a date" Uncle Trey laughed.

"Bye" i said grabbing my plate.

"I love you too" he said.

I went back to my room and cursed realizing i left my drink downstairs.

Me: bro 🥺
Kobi: No
Me: can you please bring me my drink on the kitchen counter?
Kobi: Stop running from Black
Me: I'm not running
Me: maybe jogging
Kobi: 🤣 jog yo ass to the kitchen
Me: I HATE IT HERE
Kobi: 😂😂😂😂😂

I rolled my eyes as I continued the episode of 13 Reasons Why.

I waited till i saw Black's car gone to go back downstairs. It was now almost 10 and i knew the game had to be over. I made my way to the kitchen and stopped when i heard Black's laugh.

"OG you crazy as hell if you choose the Cowboys over the Saints" Black said.

"I'm not betting my money on the Saints" Dad said.

"Aight but come on.. The Cowboys?" Black asked.

"Fuck it, I'm not betting" dad said.

"Just sit that game out" Uncle Dede laughed.

"Y'all know the Saints play the Falcons on Thanksgiving again" Uncle Trey said.

"I got the Saints" dad said.

"But you chose the Cowboys? Make it make sense OG" Black said.

"I'm finna kick yo' ass out" dad said.

I was making my plate when they all came into the kitchen.

"Niece i ain't know you was here" Uncle Stunna said hugging me.

"I thought you had a date" Black said staring me down.

"I did" i lied.

Uncle Trey looked at me.

"When you get back?" Black asked.

"Where is your car?" I asked.

"She thought yo' ass wasn't here" Uncle Dede laughed.

"Kobi was blocked in so he took mine to the store to get some woods" he answered.

"You look high enough" i said.
