"Black throw another fucking pumpkin" i said.

"Is that a dare?" he asked.

"Try me" i said.

"Fuck it let's have a shoot out" Fred said throwing a pumpkin at Black.

"We can't take them no where" Niya said.

"Black high as fuck, look at him" i said.

We watched as Black pretended to reload a pumpkin before throwing it at Fred.

"Hold on" i said seeing my job calling.

I stepped away before answering.

"Hello" i answered.

"Aye Ja'lynn, this is Mike. Can you come in and close tonight? Layton called out" he said.

"What time?" I asked.

"You can just do 6-11 if that's ok" he said.

"I'll be there" i said.

I seen a pumpkin fly by my head and i quickly hung up.

"Who you on the phone with?" Black asked.

"That was my manager" i said.

"Bitch that was big di-" niya started.

"NIYA PLEASE" i yelled.

"Nah what she was finna say?" Black asked.

"Aniya I'll knock yo fucking teeth out if you say what i think you was finna say" Fred said.

"I was gone say he got a big dinner table" niya said.

I bit my lip to keep from laughing.

"How the fuck you know?" Fred asked.

"He be selling 'em. I was gone buy one" niya said.

"Now i see why Ike was beating Tina ass" Fred said.

"No cap" Black said.

I mugged him.

"We gotta go, i work tonight" i said.

"The fuck, i thought you was off" Black said.

"They asked could i come in and i said yes" i explained.

"So just fuck our date night" he said.

"Don't do that" i said.

He ignored me as he watched the kids throwing little pumpkins.

"Babe" i said trying to grab his hand.

"Gone Jay" he said.

"Stop acting like this" i said.

"Move, you blowing my high" he said.

"Wow, ok" i said walking away from him.

"I can't believe my manger just smoked me out" i said as Mike and I walked out of the employee bathroom.

"Who smoked you out? I don't even smoke" he said.

"Yeah ok, your secret safe with me big Mike" i said.

I remembered what Niya said and I mentally face palmed myself.

"I mean I'm not saying you're big. Well i know you're not small.. I mean i don't know anything.. Have you ever watched the Blind Side?" I asked.

He laughed.

"Yeah I've watched it" he said.

"I like that movie" i said.
