So sorry for updating late. Dont really have an excuse but I was busy.....really appreciate your patience

***Lucy's pov****

The day went very slowly and after an excrusiatingly painful line of classes it was finally time for break.

As I entered the cafeteria I saw Shelly waving her hand vigorously. I got my food and was making my way over to Shelly when I caught a glimpse of Andy and Ashley making out on one of the lockers.

"Ew if they want to do that they could do it somewhere else,he could choose anyone else for this week but not Ashley" I thought

Yh ,any one like you.

I argued with my conscience and pushed the thought out of my mind.

Also the fact that he's a hot jock means he's a player and the kind of guy that isn't ready to commit to a relationship. For me I feel like are girls so desperate.

Yh, like you aren't.....

Shut up...ugh

" Hey Shells ,what up",I snap out of my thoughts and look up and to see Andy's hand around Shelly's neck with his other hand on Ashley waist

If only that was my waist that he was holding

Ugh, I need to stop this

You can't stop love

There is no....why am I talking to myself?

"Hey Andy " Shelly said "Can I talk to you in private", She looks up at Ashley and gives her the stink eye which she(Ashley) totally ignored

"Um...Sure".

" I mean alone".

"Okay, Ash could you wait for me".

"Sure".she kisses him . I almost gag🤢

Andy and Shelly excuse themselves while I'm left with the devil's younger sister . She took one look at me and sat down.

"One thing I don't get is how is it that you have never made a move on him or is it because of you know you will be rejected".

I scoffed at what she said not replying.

"I know you like him and want to tear us apart" She said.

"Firstly No , Secondly no and thirdly what's your problem with me. You scared that if I make a move on him he'll cheat on you , are you scared that he will dump you like the others or you are afraid that his sister's best friend might be the only girl he might love". As I finished I gave her an evil smirk. I could see her boiling

"Be careful don't boil " I said in a mocking tone "I don't think Andy will like to sleep with boiled meat with fake nails and hair extensions."

As she continued to boil up , I just laughed and went back to my food. Andy and Shelly conversation was over and they approached our table .
"Andy let's go" Ashley commanded

"Why, I still need to.." but she didn't let him finish and dragged him by the hand out of the cafeteria.

"What happened while we were gone" Shelly asked observing the look on my face. I mean who wouldn't , I had turned purple due to the amount of laughs I had been holding in.

But then I couldn't . I let it out laughing like a crazy person , hitting the table with my hands till my sides ached and most importantly my best friend became impatient.

"Uhn" I asked munching on my sandwich not remembering what she asked .

"I said what happened when I went with Andy" Is that what she said? Oh

I told her right from when she and Andy left me with Ashley

"Oh, you poor thing " She said hugging my head, literally " I'm so sorry you had to put up with the devil's apprentice"

"Sister you mean "

"Yh, sure.... whatever" She said then went back to her compassionate self " I'm so so so so so so so so sorry"

"Alright it's okay, but I took care of her so there's nothing to worry about"

Suddenly her face dropped like she remembered something

"Actually....there is something to worry about"

"Uhn?"

"Ashley is the queen bee of this school"

"So?"

"She's a daddy's girl , very rich and is used to having things her way"

"What are you getting at?"

I saw the visibly annoyed look on her face and even saw her twitching so I decided not to annoy her more and brainstorm on what she's getting at.

"If she doesn't.."

"Omg, if she doesn't end up with Andy she'll hate me for the rest of the school year, she would bully me and make everyone in school hate me(not that they like me but I'll love to not be bullied by people I don't know ) and I might be so distracted I won't focus in class then I won't be able to enter final year and graduate . I won't find the love of my life and end up living alone in a cave with a rat as my pet and no sanity left" I finished quite out of breath

"Oh no. Why didn't I think of that" She said sarcastically rolling her eyes

"Whatever but what am I gonna do" I asked complaining. I don't think I can live with bullying for the rest of my life
